My car was booked in for a 'while you wait' aircon re-charge. I arrived late due to traffic on M25 but no problem. Took the dogs for a walk, returned later and aircon now icy cold. Good value at £75 + VAT. Recommended.

Recently found space for my car next day for an urgent MOT and completed all the work same day so I could have the car back for the weekend. Never had any issues with the work, always feel they are conscious of costs and come up with smart solutions where possible and communicate clearly. Great service all round every time.

Ian at Kingfisher Auto Repairs was recommended to me by Baker Tyres (also excellent) who I have used for many years as I needed a suspension repair to my F82 BMW M4CS. I can't speak highly enough of their service. They used OEM parts which I didn't without me needing to remind them to do - the work was completed in the timeframe agreed and they have done a first class job. I was a bit nervous using a non BMW Dealership at first but I'm very glad I did. I would definitely use Kingfisher Auto Repairs again 10/10.

Really impressed with the service I received at Kingfisher. I had an issue with my car that I was a bit worried about as if the repair had been too expensive I would have had to get rid of the car as it would not have passed the MOT I had booked. A few days later my plans changed and it was going to be difficult to make the MOT at the Honda garage. I called Ian and he was able to get the car MOT done that day. Great friendly atmosphere and value for money!

Great experience with Kingfisher.Electrical issue with the driver's door, meant that nothing connected to it was working. I spoke with Ian and another mechanic and they were both very polite and helpful. Fixed within a day as promised. No fuss. Upfront about costs. Excellent service.Would highly recommend.

Ian was so honest and helpful, he was only mechanic I called who actually answered my question over the phone! He made sure he was there when I came and picked up the car which was nice. He understands money is tight and you can tell he really cared about sorting the car for me. He gave advice also which was really appreciated.Deffo recommend and will be using again for next MOT.

I had problems with my car so I took it to Ian at Kingfisher Auto, after people at my work recommended him. He changed my brake disc and pads for a very good price. I then had further problems with my car I thought I needed a new gearbox but after Ian looked at it, he told me it was just the clutch and fixed my suspension at the same time all for a really good price. All of these was fixed in less than a day!I highly recommend Ian at Kingfisher, he is extremely professional and polite, I will be taking my car and future cars to Ian all the time from now on!

Recently, I decided to visit Kingfisher Auto Repair, relying on reviews that were over a year old. Although there might have been a change in ownership since then, my experience was far from satisfactory, though the issues weren’t related to the car repair competency.Upon my arrival, I quickly realized there was a significant communication barrier with the mechanics. They seemed technically skilled, but their ability to articulate the problems with my vehicle was lacking, leading to an air of uncertainty from the outset.The real disappointment, however, lay in the customer service. The reception was quite cold, and the interactions felt rude and aggressive, making the environment uncomfortable. This aspect significantly detracted from the level of trust and comfort one should feel when leaving a vehicle for repairs.The situation further deteriorated when I attempted to follow up on the progress of the repair work over the phone. The response I received was discourteous, with the staff remarking, “Why are you calling us? We will call you when it’s done.” This is not in line with the professional and proactive communication one would expect from a reputable auto repair service. The lack of a clear timeframe for the repairs, coupled with their aversion to providing updates, made it challenging to plan around the situation, adding to the stress of the already unpleasant experience.In conclusion, while the technical expertise at Kingfisher Auto Repair may be satisfactory, the poor communication, rude and aggressive customer service, and lack of transparency concerning the repair timeline significantly marred the overall experience. A shift towards a more courteous and customer-centric approach, as well as improved communication regarding the progress of repair work, could significantly elevate the customer experience at this establishment.
