Would Highly recommend Darren. He has fitted our second Charnwood stove for us this week. He is not only more than competitive price wise he is always willing to talk through the options and knows how to achieve what it is you ask for. Darren did a fantastic job installing our ClearView Pioneer 400 stove. He removed our old gas fire, swept the chimney and re-lined it and re-built the opening to accommodate the stove. He is extremely hard working, friendly and clearly an expert at what he does. We love our new log burner and we fully recommend Fires and Flues.

Darren was extremely helpful from the very first time we called him. We discussed several options and the final outcome was perfect. It was installed to the very highest standard. When I contacted Darren all I knew was that I wanted to replace my old Yorkstone fireplace with something more modern but had no idea where to start. Darren helped by leaving some brochures and told me which ones were in my budget and also helped me get the right size for the proportions of the room, his years of experience and good eye for detail were invaluable. Darren did a brilliant job transforming our fireplace into the centrepiece of the room. This included removing the defective burner, rebuilding the structurally unsafe chimney breast, rendering the fireplace, lining the chimney, fitting some great-looking brick slips and a granite hearth, and finally installing Clearview Pioneer 400 log burner (highly recommend). Darren guided us through the whole process, was very open with options and is extremely pleasant to work with. Very competitive pricing. We're delighted with the outcome, and will be recommending Darren to anyone we know needing a new fireplace!

After looking at our outdated Yorkstone fireplace for many years we decided that would we update the look of it.
