Visited this shop with my 80 year old mum. What an amazing dolls house shop. These places are far & few between now. Buying from catalogues is not the same as seeing & handling before you buy. Very warm welcome. Not pressured & lots of time to browse. Lady was very knowledgeable & easily found things when we asked Do you have." Prices very reasonable. They only take cash but this suited my elderly mum anyway. The little room set ups where inspirational. The range & quality of what they sell is phenomenal. Will definitely be back. Thanks for all your help & advise. Highly recommend a visit."

Fantastic shop, I love everything about it. Everything you can possibly think of for your dolls house and the owners are extremely helpful and welcoming. I am already planning my next visit and project. Go prepared with cash or dig out your cheque book as they don't accept cards, but this is all part of the charm of the shop. What a wonderful shop!

I visited this dollhouse shop recently and was met by an elderly couple who were extremely rude and hostile to my husband. The woman told my husband that dogs were not allowed in the shop. That was okay; however, there was no sign on the door—our dog is a Chihuahua and was wrapped inside my husband's coat at the time. What was even more ridiculous about this was that we were already 15 minutes inside the shop before anything was said! Before my husband left the shop, he pointed out that there was no sign on the door stating that no dogs were allowed in the shop. The woman responded, Why should there be?" My husband then left the shop and waited outside for me. In the meantime

Lovely shop that you could spend many hours in looking at the array of items on offer. Not only are the prices are very reasonable; but the shop has every item imaginable for your dolls house. The gentleman owner is very helpful too. The shop only takes cash and cheque so be mindful when visiting. A must for all dolls house enthusiasts.

A magical shop of the kind that sadly you just don't find anymore. This beautiful little shop is like something out of a movie, run by a lovely gentleman who has time to talk and spend time and is equally happy to let you browse the myriad little treasures to your hearts content. I would say that everyone who loves dolls houses or miniatures must visit and support this wonderful shop so that we and future generations can enjoy it. From teeny tiny birds nest, to bread and cheese and other food items, to beautiful ornate furniture and books, this shop has everything any dolls house lover could ever desire.GeorginaUnfortunately I have to edit my review from 5 stars to 1 as I had such an awful experience last week. I've been visiting the shop on my own for years and have always had good service. However last Friday i went in to the shop with my husband and holding our 3 year old. We were ignored when we arrived. Eventually we got the attention of the owners but they were not happy to see us and made us feel we weren't at all welcome. The rudeness of the lady who works there was shocking. Sadly I will not be going back.

This is a real hidden gem. The shop is literally packed with every conceivable dollshouse miniature that exists. There are also several fully assembled dollshouses in the shop. It's a sheer delight to browse around this fascinating shop and Margaret is extremely welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful. You are left in peace to admire all the fascinating pieces in the cabinets at your leisure. My dollshouse is looking pretty impressive after my visit there this morning. I'm absolutely thrilled to bits!
