Lovely slates but when I started mixing the adhesive I was pulling solid lumps from out of almost half the bags. My boss and I were not impressed with the customer service upon discovering this issue.

I have bought several items from here and have been impressed every time I visit. All the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Whether it’s wood or stone the products are inevitably beautiful.

I was really impressed with Markstone Granite from start to finish. Living over 200 miles from their office and looking for a piece of reclaimed Dartmoor granite for a hearth, I wasn't able to see the stone before making an expensive purchase decision. However, they were more than accommodating in sending countless pictures and advising me on how the stone could be best cut for my needs. The team there were forever patient with the numerous calls I had with them and questions I asked, and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. Even their support in delivery and follow up call thereafter was more than I would have expected and it reinforces the quality and friendly, family feel that left me more than happy with my granite. A really good, personal service bigger businesses to take a lesson from!

Great selection of products, competitive prices and brilliant service. The staff are really helpful and gave us great advice plus the showroom and surrounding buildings we're useful demonstration of the styles and materials we wanted. The materials we wanted were almost always in stock and if not the wait was only a few days.

35 years laying floors in the west country, the imported slate is very good .but the adhesive was not up to the standerd it should be was very bad and and full of lumps the response from this company was very unhelpfull mutch to my disappointment they wanted photos of the lumps and batch numbers ect making the job very difficult accusing me or my workers of getting the bags wet .ie passing the buck, i gave up as the job had a time line and got the same material from RGB builder's merchant in bodmin instead for less than half the price ,I shall not be using this company again as although they are happy and friendly to take your custom its a difficult situation to get any recompense ,

Excellent service arrived with a template lunchtime on Thursday, had a phone call on the Friday to say job completed, well impressed extremely friendly and helpful can't recommend them enough. Outstanding quality of work, beautiful finish. So chuffed with our hearth it's amazing
