Knebworth Golf Club

Nice enough course but not welcoming to visitors.Upon arrival we found that our booked tee time had been pushed back - pro shop mumbled something about the captain pushing us back.We were then met with a queue at the 1st tee, as it seems that members can just 'roll up', rendering a booked tee time even more pointless. No communication around this. A starter/course marshal might be a good idea if the club chooses to operate this way.I have no issue in a golf club being centred around their membership base, but there are plenty of golf clubs in the area who appear to value paying customers much more, e.g. Whitehill, Mill Green, Essendon, Stevenage, Chesfield.....

Great driving range....

Friendly staff and nice facilities. A mixture of new and old architecture. Course was well laid out and amazing greens. Suffering from winter conditions on the fairways. Would definitely play there again. Bar food was very good.

It was a very nice venue. Excellent food and pleasant staff. Unfortunately I was there following a funeral, but it made a very nice place to meet.

The club was fantastic at booking us a golf day at relatively short notice. It was the first time any of us had been but we were all impressed by the hospitality; every member of staff was cheerful and helpful! The course was in great condition for a wet December day with no standing water anywhere. The food was great and the club was exceptionally accommodating when some of our party dropped out at short notice. A big thank you Emma and everyone at Knebworth golf club for a great day!

I joined the Ladies Academy here and the golf pro Ian is just the best, really friendly company and fantastic instruction - highly recommend!

Nice place with all you need, good golf course, good clubhouse and a really nice practice facilities. If your looking to join anywhere in the area I think it ticks all the boxes. Looks like a great members club from what I saw,I was just a visitor and felt very welcome.

Great clubhouse with good views of the course.A few interesting holes ,some tricky.Worth a visit

Great course with some tricky holes. Reason for marking it down is the on 3 occasions local members have been rude.1 - we had 2 fourballs back to back and on the turn a member jumped between us even though we were clearly putting on the 9th green as our guys were teeing off the 10th.2 - accused in a rude way of wearing golf shoes in the clubhouse. They were clean trainers3 - told to take a cap of I a rude way. This one was correct as we shouldn't have had a hat on inside but the rudeness of the request was not needed.
