Had nothing but brilliant service when I bought my car three years ago and subsequent annual visits. Unfortunately it's gone downhill. Tried to arrange for a set of tyres to be replaced. Emailed three times over two weeks and no response. Phoned three different times and get bounced between Parts & Service departments, with noone wanting to take any details and book me in. Promised call backs that never happened. Now into the third week of trying, I have booked in elsewhere. For a garage that no longer sells new cars, and is purely for servicing existing customer base, it's an appalling experience.

After a short delivery delay I was finally able to pick up my retirement present to me today. @Mercedesbenzsouthlakes and Matthew were brilliant - not only did they give me a great deal but they also gave me free use of a brand new demonstrator until my new car was ready to collect... customer service.

Non existent and indifferent service. Went to arrange a car service today and walked in. No one on the service desk but a sign on the desk telling customers to speak to a member of staff. Slight problem. No one to speak to. One staff member on the phone near the entrance who didn't acknowledge I had walked in and although I waited and he could see I was waiting he didn't acknowledge me and in the end I walked out. To be clear, I was not expecting him to stop his phone call but there are things you can to acknowledge a customer's presence and make them aware you know they are there. I will take my car elsewhere. I'm not used to a Mercedes dealership having such an indifferent attitude to owners.

The team at South lakes were very professional and knowledgeable, special mention goes to Luke Peniston for his above and beyond attitude towards customer satisfaction he was efficient in finding exactly the right car for myself and also went out of his way to make sure the experience as a whole was top notch, I would recommend South lakes mercedes to anyone looking to purchase a car

Cant fault start to finish service I received from Brian during a recent purchase of a used GLC. Always provided information I requested and returned calls. Also spoke to sales manager Mike who was more than helpful.

No longer sells new cars. Had first service of the car bought from them- was told they don’t have technician to check vehicle diagnostics. Was asked to go to Blackpool. But I went ahead with them. Said they will call me back when they can check diagnostics. They said everything is fine but start stop doesn’t work. Battery partially charged after long drive. Blind spot assist doesn’t work either. Pathetic service for a premium service.

Bought a new A180 ,petrol which i am delighted with .55mpg touring Scotland in first month and 40 -45mpg locally. Initially dealt with Craig Oates who could not have been more helpful . The customer service received from Mercedes Benz South Lakes was fantastic. From the first contact nothing was a problem. We live in Essex and was able to reserve the car pending a test drive. Rose is a credit to your company. She was highly professional and was able to answer all questions we had. Used the online system to book a service and MOT. Turned up a little early and it was all closed up. Waited for my time of 08:30 and still no signs of life. Checked the front door to see a sign that says opens at 09:00. Why have early booking times if not open and why was I not contacted to tell me it would not be open? Simple things really.

My parents recently bought their new C Class from this dealership through Luke. The customer service was second to none the entire way through the process and left my parents extremely comfortable and confident with the team and the purchase. I would highly recommend this dealer and Luke to anyone that is in the market for a new Mercedes, I will definitely return when I buy my second Mercedes.
