Disappointing ! We (5) were here today 4 August. We queued for 15 minutes to give our order as it was so busy and was told the wait for food was 30 minutes. Unfortunately, when the food came the 2 jacket potatoes (5.95 each) with tuna mayo were dry as there was no butter, had lots of grey pieces inside and the outer skin was so hard from what seemed like re-heating in the microwave that the half was inedible. The side salad was obviously old and parts had discoloured and started going slimy.The cheese and ham toasties were just sandwiches where the bread was toasted. Not a toasted sandwich from a (breville) sandwich machine. Also the 3 coffee lattes were just warm but by no means hot. When I politely took my potato skins back and showed the lady at the desk, I was just told that they'd never had any complaints before and that the potatoes were just that colour! Not the professional answer I would expect. 42 ponds for a quick (!) lunch.I wouldn't recommend this cafe. There are better ones close by.

Would 100% recommend!!Great cafe & bonus dog friendly!Staff are so polite and friendly, food is so tasty!Brilliant day out for family & friends, boat trips and lovely walks!Take my daughter regular and she absolutely loves it! Will definitely be going back.

Lovely location with very friendly staff. They are also dog lovers and will often give you a free sausage for your dog when ordering food. Well worth a stop when walking the local area.

Absolutely beautiful food! unbelievably friendly staff, nothing is ever too much trouble fantastic selection of food beer ice cream chocolate and much more. I've been here a few times now even when it's busy staff are are always prompt with service. Overall my experience here has always been a massively positive one, I will definitely be returning! 10/10 A1*

The cafe has a perfect location overlooking Goytre Wharf with plenty of seating inside and out. The welcome from the staff was brilliant and my vegetarian breakfast really hit the spot. Plenty of choice on the menu and good choice of drinks, the perfect stop after a walk on the canal.

Its a lovely cafe with great views ,we had a hot chocolate,pleasant staff,clean areas,plenty of seats,parking,slide outside for the children,toilets at the rear,they have started to do Sunday roast dinner on a Sunday,the first time we came we had chips and a toasted sandwich was very nice its in a great location.
