I have ordered cakes from Colette, the owner of Double-Take Cakes, for a few years now.For every occasion, birthday party etc, she has delivered some jaw dropping, custom made cakes...and they were delicious. She is 100% dedicated to her work and she knows how to make everyone's dream cake come true.She is a talented baker and teacher and I recommend her without hesitation.Her cakes are just pure ART!

Colette was so professional and really helpful. Our order was a little bespoke as required balloons and specific delivery time with our cupcake order for a colleagues surprise baby shower.Colette was able to source and provide the balloons along with her beautifully decorated cupcakes at the delivery time required.Great vendor to work with and cannot recommend enough. I wanted a cake fit for a princess and Colette more than delivered!!! Colette is an artisan who pays attention to the fine details and works in collaboration with the client/customer to deliver the cake of their choice. My daughter was in awe of her Disney-themed cake and it certainly helped to make it a birthday to remember. And to top it all off, the cake was VEGAN. The buttercream flavour was delicious and it completely melted in the mouth. If you want an amazing cake for any occasion Double-Take Cakes should be your first choice without a doubt!

I’ve been getting my all occasion cakes from Double - Take Cakes for the past 8 years now. Ea h and every time a cake is delivered, it puts a big smile on my face. I like and know cakes. Double -Take Cakes make cakes like my Mother used to make them. Like comfort cakes. Makes me reminisce of my youth.Giving 5 stars is too easy. Colette made an amazing lol cake for my daughters 5th birthday. It looked exactly like the picture I sent her. And it tasted even better!! The white chocolate balls inside were literally the icing on the cake.Communication through the whole process was excellent and delivery was prompt. I would definitely recommend Colette and use her again. In fact I already have my next cake on order.

Thank you Colette for the super cake you made for our grandson's Christening. Having made a great cake for Henry, our older grandson's Christening we had no doubts about asking you to do a similar one for Theo. This cake needed a design adjustment as Theo is now 3 years old. I don’t normally give reviews; however, I have to say that “Double-Take’s” service was Excellent! The cake was for my son’s 40th Birthday and was quite a distance. Double Take delivered the cake safely and even provided a beautiful box which I was able to keep the cake in, hidden until the appropriate time. Really loved the natural flavouring used and the cake tasted gorgeous too. Would highly recommend Double-Takes’ service. Many thanks.

Double Take Cakes has been my go to for all major events and special occasions. I’ve had my wedding cake, husbands 40th and my daughters 3rd birthday cake, all from DTC and I can honestly say, it’s always immaculate in design and taste. I contacted Colette in regards to my mum's 50th Birthday and she did not disappoint at all. I described what I wanted the cake to look like, size, flavours, colours and she brought my vision to life; it was so easy to communicate with her, customer service was excellent. The cake itself tasted amazing, my mum absolutely loved it; and she delivered right to our doorstep for no extra charge.
