I can wholeheartedly recommend this very professional company. They are a great team, from the really pleasant and helpful staff in the office to the knowledgeable and skilled engineers.Adam fitted the new boiler and Jake and Jack the radiators. all excellent and conscientious tradesmen. The price was extremely good value for the work undertaken. Many thanks and best wishes for the future.

Great service and great team. All the lads were extremely polite and friendly and clearly very experienced at what they do. Quoted on initial meeting in 15 mins and what was quoted we paid. No fuss and no bother. We had a new gas boiler and new rads, would definitely recommend. 5 star. Thank you very much.

Was given a price for a new boiler and flue ....after they came and done a survey of the property they gave me a price to do the job . Booked 2 days off work!!! When they turned up decided the roof was too high and need scaffolding at my extra expense and have to wait another week for heating and water when confronted Andrew was rude and offensive not just to me but my partner.. wouldn't trust them with a sink tap let alone a new boiler!!!!Disgusted wouldn't recommend them to anyone

They did a really efficient job of upgrading our central heating system to a high spec combi boiler over two days. There was no corner cutting and they did everything as specified in the original quote.

I am so disappointed with UK Boiler Care Ltd, we requested an extension to a flue a year ago as fumes were blowing into a bedroom window with a boiler they fitted a year earlier (although apparently within regulations).Before the first service was conducted in Feb 2022 I asked if this could be looked at, nothing happened although was provided with a quote which was accepted. I chased Andrew Matthews, the After Care and Service Manager who asked me to send pictures of the installation which I found strange as their engineer had just attended and thought they would have had some records on file from the installation the previous year. We sent pictures of their installation.Prior to the boiler being installed I had two quotes, one recommended the flue to be placed where the existing one was, through the roof of the flat roof extension and above the windows, however UK Boiler Care came up with another option whereby the flue was placed above the door of the single storey flat roof extension, below the first-floor bedroom window, the engineer seemed convincing.As I got no response from Andrew Matthews I had to copy emails to the company director Sean Whiting who failed to respond also.Only in Dec 2022, 10 months after accepting the quote I was advised the flue extension would not make any difference, however I still wanted to proceed as you could not open the windows in the room. UK Boiler Care advised they would check it out again with the service due on the 10th February 2023. A full year of waiting for an extension to the flue still no outcome.Aside from the apparent trustworthiness of the sales process through Adam Oakley, what sold me with this company is that they offered an aftercare service at an initial low price of £4 which was obviously a ploy to purchase through them, however apparently, I missed the deadline for this and was asked to pay £19.99 a month, this went up to £23.99. Although the price incl VAT they would not send proof of the VAT payment.After taking £23.99 pcm by direct debit for this last year and chasing when the service would take place, I expressed my disappointment in their aftercare service so instead of attempting to resolve they told me they do not cover the CM9 post code and will not be doing the annual service of extending the flue. Basically £287.88 and no service. The previous year (1st year) we paid the plan for a full year by direct debit and received a service as you would expect.On the couple of occasions I have spoken to them I found the aftercare service arrogant and condescending, something I was totally shocked by.It could have been so much different if the flue had been extended when the quote was accepted, it was such a small job. I can hardly believe the excuse in Feb 2023 was that due to COVID etc they do not have staff to cover CM9, CO3 or areas of Colchester and the service being part of the plan will not take place.I feel totally let down by this company, I have wasted time and money, it has been a truly frustrating experience.POST RESPONSEFirstly you have taken money to cover the plan states £23.99 paid in advance each month, WE HAVE PAID 15th JAN TO 14th FEB 2023, THE SERVICE IS DUE ON OR BEFORE THE 10th FEB 2023. You have taken money and are obligated to provide.The response is not accurate, Andrew and I spoke in particular about Colchester and Stanway. The story has changed. These areas are CO1, CO2, CO3 and CO4, they are not outward of CO15. This just goes to show that you can drop post codes willy-nilly when a client has paid.Any respectful company would want to fulfil their obligations and move an engineer from another CM9 post code area.You advised me that your would ask the engineer at the service last year, your Director Sean Whiting signed the Commission Rep, you provided a quote. 10 months later only do you come up with an excuse that extending the flue would not make any difference to the fumes blowing through the bedroom window.I do not believe I was asking too much for your company to honour the terms of your service plan.

Would highly recommend UKBC for any boiler or plumbing work, they are highly professional, polite & incredibly thorough. They’ve assisted me on a number of occasions, sometimes at very short notice. Excellent service and competitively priced.
