Port Eynon Car Park
What can I say. It's a car park, with toilets. One star off for the unreasonable £6 for all day. That being said, it's the only parking, so you don't have much choice. It's not full of potholes, so you won't wreck your car. But it's not tarmacked.

Car park is ok, both pay machines out of order on visit and the help line number was absolutely useless. The customer care was none existent

Port Eynon is a great choice for ease of access to the beach. It is a very short walk onto the beach from the pavement/ path from the car park. It has disabled parking spaces right next to the beach too. Great facilities in village near car park, chips hops, tourist / ice cream shop, 2 diff pubs in the village.... Both do food and are good. Beach itself is lovely.... Great for rock pooling to the right of the beach(facing the sea). Swimming is best near Horton end of the beach.... If you mostly want to kSwim, probably best to park at Horton beach car park.... Roughly 1/2-1 mile from Port Eynon and walk onto beach lthere.

Car park is great as is the beach.... But high season dogs only allowed to right of slipway which is mainly rocks many of which are sharp and not a nice place to walk dog. For hunan of dogs The beach to left of slipway is vast and Sandy.... I won't return. There are many other beaches in the Gower where dogs are welcome so if you're a dog owner choose one of those instead.

OK car park but the ticket machines are a nightmare & you might face a long queue to get a ticket. One of the 2 machines wasn't working at all meaning that everyone was queuing for one machine. I must have waited 20 minutes for my ticket, the foreign man in front of me gave up trying after what seemed an eternity...

Absolute rip of prices to park your car.Coming straight from Porthcawl, which is free, this place is run by bandits.

Parking is okay, but charging your EV does not happen. QR code doesn't go anywhere. No 3G so impossible to use. Ticks a box I suppose.

Easy access, with a charge for parking - but beautifully situated at the coastal foot of the village.Adjacent to the beach, you can walk, swim or use your board.Wonderful walk one way to the old Salthouse and on to the headland. See the good signs and information boards.Or you can walk through the dunes, the other way, towards Holton. Perfect afternoon or morning out.You can also break your walk at Port Eynon for great fish and chips or a cream tea in the village...
