A great find, lovely little farm shop with lots of products of good quality. We stopped for a drink and something to eat, and we weren't disappointed, only wish I could of tried there home made cakes, as they looked lovely, and on the plus side, dog friendly too, if well behaved.A little farm walk, and a few animals to see.We will definitely be returning

I am very disappointed with the customer service.I made a big order which included a £40 worth's of unsalted butter on the 9th of October with other items, I received my order on the 17th of October but was disappointed to find that the butter tasted distinctly salty, which for dietary reasons I cannot use. I was told it might be the tangy culture but I literally found grains of salt in the butter I opened.*this was also tasted by other family members and they all agreed.I have asked for a refund / a replacement for the butter I ordered. But I have not received an answer to my emails and I feel I have been ignored and they are not taking my issue seriously.Id think twice before buying their products again - knowing they do not respond to my concerns and problems regarding my purchases.Response regarding manager's comment:Thank you for your response,I fully understood from our initial communications that you had checked the batches and that no one else had complained. This however doesn't alter the fact that the unsalted butter I received was infact salty. Whatever the reason for this, I felt that as a customer, who genuinely appreciates the quality of your products, and who had placed a large order of butter as a result, was not given the benefit of the doubt and at least some offer of recompense. Customer satisfaction is surely fundamental to any business. Unfortunately I am not satisfied but very disheartened, at having to go to these lengths to complain.Mai

Lovely place to visit. Great to see local products and producers being supported, some products were a little over priced but most were reasonable. Tasty snacks and drinks available in the relaxed cafe setting. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

A wonderful little gem, we went to the cafe and tried the raw milk - very tasty! The cows were in the shed with their calves which was nice to see. We also had the sausage rolls with onion chutney which were divine, they have quite a big menu for a small cafe - you can even get a Sunday roast. Well worth the visit.

Food was excellent! We had a large breakfast and Eggs Royal. So tasty. Great surroundings, peacocks in residence along with goats and guinea fowl. Would well recommend.

We had a Sunday breakfast at the cafe. They serve a wonderful coffee! We had cappuccino, white coffee and Affogato.A real pleasure. For food we had small English breakfasts and yogurt and toast. The food was ok, yogurt to my taste was too sour nevertheless it was with fresh berries and oats. I’d rather add some honey probably. And our toast came without jam, keep an eye on yours:)The room was full with dogs, not all of them were well behaved (as it’s mentioned in front of the cafe). We wanted to seat outside but staff warned us about wasps, so we stayed inside. Even though some wasps visited us there as well:)Busy place and staff, probably it would help to add 1 more person to the team. We didn’t get a knife for the toast. Of course we asked and got it.I assume the cafe and the shop are pretty full during open hours. It’s better to reserve a table for any meal. Nice area around. Good choice of food. You will definitely have fun: peacocks, emu, goats, sheep live at the farm.

Placed a first time order of steaks, eggs and raw milk. Very satisfied with my decision will continue to order more. Yes its more expensive than buying from supermarket though the quality is superior and most importantly knowing the animals have a good quality of life compared to supermarket farm animals is worth the price difference

Food was lovely and a generally lovely place. Staff need some training on being friendly though as the waitress serving us seemed to be inconvenienced by requests such as 'can we pay when ordering, can we have some more napkins and we only have half of our order that came out 15 minutes ago. General politeness doesn't cost a penny"

Old Hall are about local produce, raised in beautiful rural surroundings in an ethically farmed environment. The food is good, the service is not hurried but attentive. I had the Ham, Eggs and rustic chips, the eggs were a little overdone for my liking but the ham was amazing! After brunch it was time to wander round the farm, there are productive Jersey cattle as well as goats and an emu so good fun for the kids.Dont forget the farm shop for amazing meat dairy and produce.
