David at Dowden Motor Services tuned my classic Rolls Royce and it is running better than it ever has before. David explained in detail what he had done, he is very knowledgeable, especially on classic vehicles. They charged a very fair price, I will certainly be using this garage to look after my vehicles.

Very bed experience. Unfortunately didn’t read the previous reviews.Left the car in the morning and had to go just before they close down to find out that I had to pay twice as much I was told On the phone and than with an Mot failed , finding out just before closing.Not explained either anything. They only care to take your money , no humanity at all .Avoid

My go to garage in Glastonbury - feel so lucky to know these guys are here if I need any help with my car. Honest, kind and helpful. From flat tyres to MOT to fixing a dint after a little bump I had recently. Highly recommend.

A great garage. They worked really hard to get my car repaired at short notice when I needed it in time to go away on holiday and on another occasion made sure an issue got resolved which was far from straight forward, keeping me updated throughout the process of diagnostics and the repairs. Friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend.

Not a good experience at Dowdens, the lad they’ve got working there is very polite and I had a good experience with him. However, I found one of the mechanics on the phone unfriendly, patronising and unhelpful. The work was expensive and the invoice was very vague with no detail of labour hours or VAT. Price of labour looked like it was made up on the spot and seemed very high. I should’ve raised it but I couldn’t be arsed to deal with him again.Took my car here a few months back and the man I dealt with was absolutely lovely hence why I came here again. Unfortunately he was nowhere to be seen, I’m guessing he doesn’t work there anymore.From reading the recent reviews and my experience its clear customer service and organisation needs to improve.

Had a full service on my van. Invoice was a great deal less than quoted. Knowledgeable and thorough with great customer service.

took car for an MOT they don't do MOT'S until the LATE afternoon which isn't good if u need work done to get it passed, not very good with communication to their customers had to ring on multiple occasions to find out what was happening! Decided to give a local garage a try for a change rather than my usual one but always go where u feel repected is my opinion ,Car failed on a tyre but rather than call and ask IF it was OK to change the tyre there and then for a pass had to wait over the weekend for a re-test
