I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get my hair done, there is always a warm welcome and you are offered a drink even if you are only having a trim, and I am never judged when I have messed up my own hair with box colour and clippers. Amy is so friendly and professional even when she is run off her feet. The charge is reasonable for the service you are given. Always 5 * service

I cannot rate this place enough , Jenni in the beauty department is excellent and Amy does fabulous hair . Always made to feel welcome and always a cup of coffee offered whilst I wait for my appointment. You won’t be disappointed if you book here .

Edit - not sure why the salon thought this was a fake review as per their social media - I booked via Instagram and visited on the 27th. I didn’t leave a review on your app as I didn’t book via there.First time visiting and won’t be returning.The little things that matter when you visit the hairdressers were definitely none existent here.Took ages to wash my hair with no treatment offered or head massage.Sat with the wet towel around me the whole cut.No drink offeredNo atmosphereNo styling / finishing products used.Place looked run down insideThe amount charged doesn’t match up with the website? Not sure where the cost is from but I didn’t realise till I got home.Nothing wrong with the cut as I only wanted a small amount off but the finish and the service weren’t great, especially for the amount charged…you would expect a lot more.Will look elsewhere

Pay no attention to the ONE bad review! Absolutely the best hairdressers I have ever been to, the best atmosphere, service and prices around. Have been a customer for over 15 years and followed Amy when she moved to her own salon she is that good. Always offered a drink and nothing is too much trouble. I have had every colour you can think off and always leave very happy with the cut and colour. I need Amy to live with me so my hair can look great everyday!!!

I’ve been going to Amy’s salon for years now. I usually have my roots coloured, highlights and a cut. It took me ages to find a salon and stylist who is consistently good, well organised and a place that is welcoming and relaxing. Her prices are really reasonable too. I’d highly recommend The Hair Lounge!

I’ve been having my hair cut, coloured and styled by Amy for nearly 10 years now, I always use to use drugstore hair colours, bleaches etc, but after taking the plunge & seeing Amy for the first time I wouldn’t turn back. Amy has always been very helpful when choosing colours & cut that would suit, offer advised on styling and products to use & always perseveres to ensure you leave with exactly what you have asked for! I have always been made to feel welcome & the salon has such a lovely atmosphere, I have always been offered hot drinks / magazines etc and the conversation is always great! I’d highly recommend The Hair Lounge! ☺️
