I’ve only ordered takeaway from here, and the peri peri chicken/wings and peri chips are great!My favourite place for grilled chicken. Better than Nando’s.Tried the fried chicken and it was horrible.

Food subpar and kitchen was so dirty.I recently ate here and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The chicken I ordered on my first visit was a major let-down it was gritty, chewy, and almost made me feel sick. The quality of the chicken was subpar considering the price its at when it is meant to be a fast food shop. To make it worse the kitchen was very disorganised with sauces and mess everywhere which usually happens when its super busy which is understandable but i was the only one in the shop.I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so i visited again hoping for a better experience with more fresh food and a cleaner kitchen instead i was told by the cashier that the grill was turned off even though it was only 10.05 and it says online they close at 10.30.The cashier, instead of offering alternatives or solutions simply stood there without any helpful suggestions just staring at me. To their credit the kitchen was cleaner than when i had visited before but that wouldn't be that hard to beat.The subpar quality of chicken paired with the poor value for money you get at this shop makes it difficult to recommend this place to others.

Bought £12 worth of food for the family and shop only wanted to give one tub of garlic sauce for that amount of food (chicken and rice as well as two burger and chips meals). Explained no other Pepes store has ever rejected giving two tubs of garlic sauce and they wanted to charge 30p for extra sauce despite amount of food I bought. Manager was very rude and clearly does not value customers. Will not go there in the future.

Ridiculously overpriced. Paid £8.50 for small wrap meal.. Chips came overcooked in soggy oil. The wrap was really small about 1 inch circumference. No salad bearly any chicken. First time i ordered here definitely would be the last. I do not recommend this place.
