Richard Lawson Autoecosse Mitsubishi

My car was delivered to Richard Lawson's Autoecosse Burrelton by the AA with a failed turbo charger.They started off well promising to repair it, providing a courtesy car in the meantime.7 months later I have my car back. In the 7 months I have had no communication from the garage. I've had to go in person to ask for updates on my car repair. Each time a new employee dealt with my enquiry. Each time I was told that the previous employee had left eg Keith and then Lee. They even told me my car belonged to them and they had bought it from me! Meantime, I had to buy another car as I was without mine for 7 months and they asked for their courtesy car back. I finally got it back after persistent request for updates and many visits and alot of distress. And I made sure to test drive it before I paid. After 5 days since I took my car back into my possession they have been asking neighbours what car belongs to me and have tampered with my cars and have barricaded my car in so that I cannot use it. I waited 7 months for a repair and they can't wait 7 days for payment? A bunch of conmen. Be very aware of what you're dealing with here. There is no legitimate practices with this bunch and We shall see what happens next!

I found autoecosse through a friend who recommended them as I was wary going into a garage as a solo female. This team could not have been better, friendly staff, very quick turnaround (I needed new glow plugs) and cheaper than I thought. The 2 ladies I spoke to were chatty, happy to advise on certain things I was asking especially around changing our car in the new year and offering some support with it. So happy I've now booked my MOT with them for when it's due. Excellent service!

Everything was sweetness and light until I paid for the vehicle and then it all changed. There was an issue with the spare key fob ( it was the incorrect one). This issue took months to resolve, not helped by the fact that phone calls and emails were not replied to in a timely manner.The daytime running lights never worked from me receiving the vehicle but rather than get into another protracted wrangle with Lawsons I took it to the nearest Mitsubishi dealer who informed me that the unit required to run the lights was actually missing and it needed to be fixed because it is illegal from March 2018 to have daytime running lights that don't work and would be an mot fail.They fixed it for me for a reasonably modest amount, but my gripe with Lawsons is that the vehicle came from them with a current mot so presumably not legal. Make of that what you will.

Great service from Dean, on my second car from him and will continue to buy from him. Dean made the process of buying car nice and easy. Happy with the standard of the car and the quality service provided. Definitely coming back to buy next one.

total con merchants. make a deal on a car, and they can't print out the documents as the pinter is broken. ask if you can pop back the next day to sign. When you do go back to sign the finance figures and cost of the deal has changed, along with the free mats, mud flaps, service etc being non existent Was hopping I would sign without noticing. Then have the cheek to refuse to refund your deposit.

I want to leave a positive 5 star review for Daniella, the Autoecosse Receptionist who helped me book in my service. She kept me informed as she had promised and was patient when my initial payment was declined due to my new card not being activated! All went well in the end.
