Ricci's Deli

This is just bad. The baguette is completely uncooked. I'm eating not much humous on dough. You used to have more pride in what you sold — a fairly rude woman serving as well. I won't be back.

My colleagues and I will often pop over to Ricci's on the dials for a sandwich or an (unbelievable) iced coffee. The staff are always so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The arancini is the best we have ever tried and their selection of cold meats and cheeses are second to none!

Used to really revere this deli and look forward to a treat from here, but recently the care and attention to produce has really gone downhill. Ordered a wrap with tuna, cheese and lettuce and when I returned home to eat the eagerly anticipated wrap I'd been given all salad, tuna and some sliced cheese that had been haphazardly thrown together. After carefully removing cucumber and tomato - that specifically did not ask for - and had soaked into the wrap to sully the requested filling, you can see from the attached picture, was left with something I'd not even give the neighbours dog to eat. In the bin goes my wrap, along with holding Ricci's in such stead. Such a shame to be disappointed in this way by what was once a fine establishment.

Lovely here, had a baguette that was really nice. Staff are lovely and the place looks rad. Plenty of choice and prices weren’t too bad, quality was high, that’s my main take away from this experience. I’ll be making regular visits.

I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt, as I too work in a customer facing environment. However, time and time again I am simply disappointed by the customer service or lack thereof. I am no means seeking the most exceptional level of customer service, yet here the gentleman who I assume owns the establishment regretfully lacks the ability to welcome, make eye contact, and even acknowledge customers. If he is the owner, I’d seek to lead by example and demonstrate the basics in acknowledgement and show a bit more enthusiasm towards customers. How you make people feel goes a long way toward customer retention. When I received my sandwich today I said thank you to the entire team, the lady and the young man responded with a thank you, yet the man kept his back to me and didn’t utter a word. I really hope the team take this feedback seriously and consider improving behaviours. To the man, be the one who influences and inspires those around you. You have an opportunity to increase your revenue as the only way you can go is up. Good luck to you.

I work next door and always buy a sandwich from here rather than go for a cheaper option at the co-op but you get much better value for money here. The staff are always incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend a sandwich from here. They have a great deli counter with some amazing cheeses and ham. The pastries are great especially the ham arancini.

I popped in on a Sunday a few weeks ago to grab a hamper of gifts for friends. I wanted to order some salamis and cheeses from the counter and an incredibly rude young woman refused to serve any food from the counter as “ it was too late and I don’t get paid after 4pm “ as it was 3:30pm it made no sense at all.I said “ wow.. “ and she just did not care, she was stunningly rude.I was about to spend a generous amount of dosh on food and I just walked out shocked at such appalling service. I’d actually driven an hour to make a special stop to buy nice things for friends and family and left empty handed feeling upset.Whoever owns this business needs to tackle the appalling service.

Very rude younger lady with red hair, made me feel unwelcome and an inconvenience to even ask her anything. I left feeling disappointed, disgruntled and really rather shocked that an independent shop would have a person like that working in the premises. Great shame
