Fantastic service, after trying 3 different garages, finally I decided to visit Number one, I booked my car with Matthew, today finally after expending a lot of money in previous garages, they fixed my car for almost nothing.!! the best garage in Norwich. I recommend to everyone who has problems with their car to come to this garage before spending hundred.Thank you very much Number one for fixed my car, this garage is really a number one in Norfolk.

Number One went out of their way to help me when I needed to book my car in at very short notice. The customer service was absolutely incredible and I'm so grateful - they even called around to help me source tyres on the same afternoon. Definitely the only place I'll use for future work and my MOTs. Massive thanks to the team.

Used this garage for the first time in August leaving my van with them for a week while I was away on holiday. I pre-informed that the thermostat housing was leaking coolant and there was evidence that the gasket between the thermostat housing and the engine block was/had also been leaking. I also asked that the lower radiator hose be changed as I had seen small leaks coming from that also and asked if they could locate an oil leak under the engine.When I picked the van up (25/08/23), after my holiday the garage sounded confident that they had cured the leak having changed only the front part of the housing, the gasket between that and the main body of the thermostat housing and the gasket between the stat housing and the engine block. The hose had not been replaced and no mention regards the oil leak. I was charged £168 for parts and labour, I will say that their hourly rate is reasonable.I used the van the following weekend, only local miles and after use I inspected the engine and was gutted to see that there was a coolant leak again from the thermostat housing. I took photographs and included in an email to the garage to inform them that I would be dropping the van off again for them to correct this. When I did drop the van off I also asked them to replace the lower hose again and confirmed the leak was definitely coming from the same location as had been reported to them originally.This time it was a quick turnaround and 31/08/23 I collected the van. I had a bill of £116.88!! I asked why this was as I expected to pay for the hose and fitting but to rectify the original work would have required draining the coolant system anyway, hence the fitting of the hose could surely not take longer than half an hour? To be fair, the guy in the office checked with the mechanic and he confirmed no more than half an hour had been spent on the vehicle!! I ended by paying £86.88 for the hose and fitting. There was no further work undertaken to the cooling system as the mechanic confirmed he had pressure tested the system and there wasn't a leak and he had confirmed this test with his manager.That weekend I used the van again for local miles and after I inspected and there it was, the same leak, same location no difference at all. I emailed the garage with photographs again and said at the time I would be dropping the van back to them to look again but I couldn't until 12th September as it was booked in another garage for some welding work. I received no reply communication from No.1 Garage.The van went to this other garage and had the welding completed but I decided to ask them to have a look at the coolant leak, search for the oil leak and undertake a service. A few days later this garage has returned the van leak free. Oil leak was just a case of torquing some bolts and the coolant leak, well no surprises, the thermostat housing body was cracked ( a common fault on these vans I was informed). A new complete component was fitted. The total bill including the service £305, a steal I would say, honest, trustworthy, old school garage that will be seeing this van again and again in the future.This is my review of my experience at the No.1 Garage, there is plenty of other reviews that tell of a really good experience and I have no reason to doubt any of them but I can only tell it as it was for me and for the above reasons rate the service I received as very poor and I will not be returning.

Brilliant honest, genuine, friendly garage.been going here for mot’s for 4 years in a row. Price is the best around and very very honest. Wouldn't take my Audi anywhere else. 100% recommended.

I was able to book my MOT here with late notice which was great! And despite losing track of time at work and showing up 30 mins late, they still did the MOT! Great customer service and decent pricing, thank you

Always a pleasure with these guys. Mot due just before Christmas. Booked in for the day after mot due, but they contacted me a bit later the same day to say another customer had not turned up so got me done on the day. Luckily no issues with the mot going through. Great customer service and I've used this garage for some years without any problems or failure in their customer service satisfaction.

Took the car in with one problem but it had caused another one. The staff here sorted it for us even though they had other jobs to do and had to keep the car a while longer as had problems getting the part! Thanks!

Popped in, without appointment, on the off chance of a test drive. All dealt with in a no fuss friendly manner. Quoted a very reasonable part exchange price on our r golf estate BBQ. Unfortunately I couldn’t persuade Mrs (sorry) to agree to the car we test drove, but would definitely consider go back to Robert again

Booked in for a full service, all done in great time. Kept upto date of any issues with the car and was able to leave it with them overnight as I was away the next day.Great service, great customer service. Will use again.

Number One Motors have done an awesome job as always on my work van. Really appreciate having such a fantastic garage in our lovely City keeping me on the road and able to look after my customers. They are always very helpful and do an excellent job. MOT and service completed, back on the road again!
