Although i am thankful for the emergency care they initially provided my cat, this company provide a very basic level of help, was told he has anemia due to fleas, sent him home hoping his blood levels will rise, i called a few days later for emergency appointment as he was wheezing, breathing very fast, bad shape and the lady on the phone suggested i take him in the bathroom while i shower so the steam can help his breathing and he didn’t need to be seen apparently, thought absolutely not, decided to go private that same day. he was seen, all bloods done, proper care, he’s now on a medication for a parasite which was causing his anemia, and when i picked him up today he was like the same cat he was weeks ago. he’s been so unwell and with 1 night in a paid vet, he was almost completely better, considering he spent nights in ICU on oxygen, fluids i really thought i was going to lose him. private vets will look into what’s actually going on so if you can, please suggest going private ❤️

Really fast and quick service once registered. Was difficult to gain an appointment via the online request having not heard anything back I rang the PDSA national number who were really helpful and same day got a call from the hospital. Hence 4 stars. The vet was really nice and supportive and without this charity we would have struggled.

Great place, really care for all animals. Patient and dedicated, really professional at what they do. If you are eligible, then there really is no better place to have your pet treated. Can't thank them enough.

Absolutely amazed by the level of care I received with my pet. Staff were so genuinely caring and attentive. Even felt the obligation to set up a fund raiser to help support the amazing care and staff based here.

The PDSA offer a great service for low income people. They were friendly, helpful and caring. A woman working on reception wasnt very nice at all, on the phone she was very rude to an elderly person who couldnt find the right documents and the conversation could be clearly heard along with derogatory comments to an uncomfortable looking staff member. She wore glasses and was brunette and was also rude to another customer. The other staff members were great though. The place is spotless plenty of room and sections separate for dog and cat owners.

Sadly my baby kitten fell poorly last Friday and she had to be put to sleep, I was absolutely heart broken as you can imagine however there team did everything in there power to save my little baby, and were so supportive and gentle and caring throughout the whole process to both me and my baby, I couldn’t of asked for anything better. They are all ever so lovely. Thankyou for everything you have done for me and baby Luna xxx

Just went down to PDSA to re register and make an appointment for my little dog. I spoke to Rosie on reception, what a lovely , caring and considerate person she is. She took time to help and was extremely knowledgeable, appointment made, so much easier and nicer than on the phone or filling in the forms on the internet. She is a true asset in a high pressured job understanding that people are worried about their pets. Thank you so much.
