Lowdhams

Fantastic dealer. Dealt with Lauren and Martin, though it was Lauren who did the handover of our brand new van. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we set foot on the premises, having driven 339 miles from Scotland with our part exchange van. Everything went very smoothly and the staff were very knowledgeable, explaining the workings of the new van including the auto-engage motormovers. I don't know his name, but a young lad employed there changed over jacking points we'd fitted to our old van and the gas bottle too and there was no extra charge. We went to Lowdhams to exchange a Swift Freestyle S2 for a Freestyle S4 EB. Also I went to the well stocked accessories shop and the people there were down to earth, very friendly and jovial. At the end of the day I suppose it's how you treat people to get the most out of an experience. I personally found Lowdhams a five star experience.

First visit here, didn't have the van we wanted but staff was friendly. Cafe staff even more so. They were exceptionally polite, the cakes and drinks were very good. It's just nice to have pleasant people serve you.

Very good selection of new and used motorhomes, plenty of customer parking too.

We have now sold the Van we bought over a year ago from Lowdhams. This was a 2 year old swift. There was an extensive list of faults which took them months to sort out and even to date we are waiting for a part under warranty we can pass on to the new owners, but its hard getting a call back when they don't answer. 2 stars for effort as their after sales has improved slightly in the last year.

Excellent service, cannot fault the staff,Had our Phoenix 640 SE from Lowdams 4 years ago never had a problemHad some fantastic holidays only wished we had tried it sooner .All I can say is read the handbook, connect everything in the right order ,people seem to forget it's a mini computer you are starting up ,take care and don't forget if you are looking for a tourer, give these a try .

Turned up at Lowdhams this week 15 Nov 23. The sign said the accessories and camping shop was open until 6pm winter hours. I walked in at 5pm to be told it was shut!. I asked to speak to a manager and the reply was “ you’ll be lucky the manager has gone!.”. This is one of the largest caravan and motor home stores in the country and it felt like some non interested , we don’t care about the customer and unprofessional corner shop. Take my advice and go elsewhere, you will be disappointed. I very rarely write reviews but I know people may have to travel a long way and I don’t want you to waste your valuable time like I did this week.

If I could give 0 stars I would.Appalling after sales service, don't respond to emails/phone calls and neither can you get hold of them, just the standard answer phone message extremely busy".Have been fobbed off from delivery of the MoHo to some 18months late with elements of the vehicle (mainly faulty electric part) not working.Vehicle was booked in to be looked at 5 weeks ago
