Jakub has just completed a large sandstone patio for us. We are very happy with the result, he has worked hard and delivered all that he promised. We will use him again!

Jakub and his team did a great job from start to finish. The brief was to replace an old patio and re-design it in a way that took account of awkward angles of the house walls and a badly positioned drainage cover. Jakub came up with a great design that was sympathetic to our traditional stone property and maximised the aspect. He and his team were always punctual, courteous, clean and tidy - all in all a pleasure to work with. Attention to detail and involving us at each decision point rather than just taking the easy option are key to their success.

In May this year, we appointed Jakub and his team to complete an extensive remodelling of our old rear patio area, working from a project design brief and drawing. Prior to the appointment, we sought several quotations, and though NJ were not initially the cheapest, upon discussion with Jakub, it was clear they represented best value in terms of allowing for everything we would need on the job at a fixed price.Jakub advised the project would take 3-4 Weeks and he would contact us to confirm an exact start date Mid-August. As good as his word, communication was forthcoming and the project commenced w/c 07th August, being completed (less some additional extras we requested) on time and on budget in just over 3 weeks.Throughout the project we found Jakub, Konrad and the team very easy to get along with. They always arrived on time, always kept us informed of progress (including checking with us on any queries against the project plan etc) and kept work spaces as clean and tidy as possible. Importantly, Jakub & Konrad also offered advice and thoughts along the way where we may adjust the design to provide a better result. This was especially valued when it came to a seating area that they suggested may look better walled off in stone rather than our original wood sleeper / post design, we took their advice and they were right.In summary, our experience of NJ Groundworks was hugely positive. It starts with Jakub & Konrad simply being nice people who actually care about the job they do, but no small amount of hard work, skill and experience has transformed our patio area. We are delighted with the end result and have already appointed them for a second smaller project. It can be difficult to find good reliable tradesman, but based on our experience, NJ Groundworks provide an exceptional service and we would not hesitate to recommend them for similar work.

Laying a patio of Indian sandstoneJakub and his co-workers have done an excellent job laying a new patio for me. The work entailed removing an old concrete patio and path and laying new sandstone tiles on a solid concrete base. The team members were very hard-working, tidy and polite throughout. I have no hesitation in recommending the company's services.

Jakub and his team were fantastic, from the start they were helpful, friendly and professional. Jakub arrived when he said he would to quote, listened to what I wanted and kept me updated as to when the work would start. They even turned up in the snow! They transformed my entire garden in just over a week, turning it from a muddy grass patch with a DIY wooden deck to a beautiful relaxing space with composite decking, artificial turf, stone planters and a patio area. The finished product is beautiful and I am so thrilled - have already recommended them to family and am hoping to have Jakub back to sort out the front area too!

Jakub extended our block paved drive, difficult job matching up with different blocks and angles but made a very good job. Good communication, would recommend.

After searching around and receiving several quotes, I employed NJ Groundworks for some building works at my property.The work included removing an old concrete drive, levelling an uneven garage floor, laying new block paving out front and several other minor jobs.I am very happy with the finished article, to say the least; the work was completed to an excellent standard, for what I considered a very reasonable price, and the site left clean.I was also gratified by the attention to detail that was paid to the project, particularly when it came to achieving the best alignment, fall and layout for the block paving.Consequently, I wouldn't hesitate to employ NJ Groundworks again, and I have already recommended them to some friends and family.

Jakub has just completed a garden landscaping project for us.We have to say what an amazing job he and his colleague Wayne has done.The work involved construction of brick built planters with tiled cladding, porcelain patio area with a hand crafted center design and a pergola that they custom built and an artifical lawn area.This work was completed to a very high standard.We are so happy with their work we are now considering another project to be done by them.We would highly recommend them.Indira & Jason.

Jakob and Konrad did an excellent job in digging out my patio and mud heap of a garden. Nothing was too much trouble. Jakub even worked Bank holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend and would use them again.Excellent job now enjoy being in the garden.
