B&Q Reading

I purchased three pot plants yesterday, and would like to refund with the original package and tag and reciept, only less than 24 hours just because my wife don't like them.The manager is very impatient on explaining the policy which makes me feel very angry, I'm a loyal bq customer, the non return policy on plants compare to majority online plants selling company (14 days return) is such a joke not even mention the attitude on the service side.I hope B&Q can take some action to improve your service and staff training

Ordered white marble pebbles in bulk online. Paid £30 for delivery on named day and took day off work. Delivery didn't come. Customer services say its at Reading store still. However customer services cant get hold of anyone in the Reading store in over 2 days. Utter joke. Will be cancelling the order and get it elsewhere.

To start off with I would like to firstly point out that the manager Harry was very disrespectful had a massive attitude. Problem started to accuse my sister and me of lying instead of looking for the facts and getting to the bottom of the problem and solve it rather this manager of B&Q was very disrespectful and arrogant in his attitude. I asked if I could talk to another manager once the other manager turned up, he was very respectful very open minded and solved the problem. Instantly his name was Naren one of more experienced and little older than the manager Harry, mr Naren who was kind understanding and sorted the problem out without any more commotion I would like to add that this manager, Harry needs to be talked to or sent on a extensive customer service course I don’t know who made him a manager, but this guy is not management material it would be nice if this so called manger Harry apologises to my sister he took advantage of a lady who is suffering with severe anxiety, panic attacks and is under the mental health act because of her mental state and instead of stopping and talking to my sister and understanding what she is requesting and has a problem he started to really put her down right know I’ve had to take her home so that she can take some time to sort herself out

I went to B&Q today and I have bought some slabs and Harry turned up very rude and was saying to me that , there is a park to go and play ,when I only was putting the slabs in my trolley and he turned up and threatening me by saying that “ If I want I won’t let you take this trolley out “ with no reason.I’m a very regular customer in B&Q and all other staff are very respectful and very helpful,His attitude is very bad, I don’t think he is in the right position.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!! They fitted my kitchen and bathroom, they did it in such a way it damaged my house then during covid my wife was sick and they couldn't care if she died and gas and electric was illegal!!! Was nearly killed by gas leak too!! If you want your family safe go any where else and took 4 years to fix house damage.

Store did not provide the delivery on the due date, and doesn't respond to any calls either from myself or customer service so there's no possibility to raise a dispute or get a refund. Absolutely 0 communication re: a redelivery or refund. Do not order from this store.

The B&Q on the Gateway Retail Park is a huge store. The store pretty much has everything you could wish for. Plants and shrubs etc are always good quality so this is really a mini garden centre along with everything else. Men (and women) can stand and daydream in the tool isles. Women (and men) can stand and daydream in soft furnishings. I do both and the garden centre. Yep you can pretty much get anything you want here for your DIY home or garden project. There are now updated self scan checkouts that work well. The staff are usually friendly and pretty cool. Recommended.Tip: Click & Collect and Customer Services are just inside the main entrance and to the right.

Staff very very helpful, a variety of different everything's cost effective to boot.wood cutting services saves a ton of work.

Rude staff lady at collection and dumb security bloke.Sell u items without scanning properly and then when u go to return an item, they accuse u of stealing because they are forgot to scan all the contents of the item. Did not even refund because if u pay by phone it has to go on the phone? How come other companies can refund u any way?Stupid staff , especially the fat bloke on tills, rude woman from the collection department and stupid security boy.
