Richmond Hargill House Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite
Lovely site, although on a hill it seems only the grass pitches not level. Wardens very friendly and helpful and the site is looked after very well. Beautiful views and in close proximity to Richmond and Darlington amongst other places. Need a car to get places although there are buses there seems to be a lack of footpaths, not the fault of the site. Highly recommended.

Beautiful site with lovely wardens. Very friendly and helpful. Traffic noise from A66 but that didn't bother us. Unfortunately, the taxi firms in Richmond don't do them any favours as we could not find one that would take a small dog. You are therefore reliant on a very sparse bus service to the village at the bottom of a heavy bank.

This site is a little gem. Yes, there is noise from the A66, but you are pre warned.The site wardens keep the site spotless.They were very friendly and helpful.Thankyou both.

Richmond Hargill House Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite
The staff were great,but the site is terrible. The grass pitches to the top of the site are very uneaven, and I almost burn the clutch out on my car trying to reverse up onto the pitch. These grass pitches are right next to the A66 duel carriageway ant the traffic is very heavy 24 hours a day. This is by far the worst Caravan and Motorhome club site I have ever visited in 35 years of caravaning. I booked for 3 nights and left after 1 night.

A spacious site, excellently maintained by a very helpful staff. But spoilt by the incessant traffic noise. Glorious views. Excellent large pitches. Facilities spotless and of a high standard. Convenient for Richmond and all the other glories of the area. Will not return because of the traffic. In all other respects cannot be faulted. Ok in my view as a night halt only.

It's a lovely park to overnight, but the reality is that the proximity to the A66 does mean constant road noise. This isn't something that would usually bother me, but it was bad. We were in the furthest sites away from the road too.

Lovely site wardens very helpful, only downside is the lack of a footpath off the site as you need to walk on the road towards nearest village
