Excellent vets which I would recommend to my friends. My dog was preciously registered at Maes glas and tbh the customer service was shocking. Vets 4 pets staff are always so friendly and polite. I receive reminders when my dogs medication and vaccines are due which is handy.

Took my 16 week old pubby who had a broken leg live told me to have her put to sleep. She has dragged my dog tied one to a table. You never see the same vet they are always confused and never know what's going on. I took a dog because I believe she had a bad leg liv said she was fine twice then turned out she needed surgery. She had just banned me because Friday she dragged my dog who had just had sergery and was rude to my daughter who took her for me and today I questioned medication.

Overall very poor service. I would not recommend them. Its a shame to leave a negative review. On a positive we usually had an on the day appointment, but that's the only positive. My dog has been misdiagnosed on more than one occasion after we sought second opinions elsewhere.I agree with other reviews I have read, my dog has also been dragged through the waiting room. They do not allow owners to go into the clinical rooms during a consultation despite the relaxation of rules following the pandemic .Overpriced but one of the main issues is lack of continuity of care. Different vet everytime, often a locum and providing conflicting advice on diagnosis and treatmentUnhelpful and often rude receptionists.I would suggest you request a copy of your pets medical records . Very defensive documentation and in our case the history of the illness not correctly documented. The out of hours service was appauling cost £600 to have an appointment and bloods to be told 3 days later to ignore the bloods and repeat them with their usual labNot a great experience. Would not recommend

I was seen on time. When booking the appointment for the vaccination I was told that the vet would need to do a health check on my dog. This would cost £35 and that I would have to pay in advance whilst making the appointment because they had so many people not turn up. The vet who spoke to me took my dog away into the treatment room stating that she wouldn't be long. I have always been present when my dog has been examined by other vets and I found this strange. I was unable to give any input re previous problems. The vet returned 7 minutes later and said that everything was fine and advised me to make an appointment for my dog to have plaque removed under anaesthetic. Taking out the time to do the vaccinations I had paid £35 for a 3 or 4 minute examination. I was told to make an appointment for four weeks time for the follow up vaccination. She gave me an appointment in two weeks. I told her it was for four weeks. She offered me a date four weeks away. We were not here so I suggested the day after. She said that the vaccination would only be valid if done in four weeks so I suggested the day before (27 days) .She again said that it had to be at 4 weeks. I again explained that I wouldn't be here so she reluctantly booked for 27 days.I was very unsatisfied with the whole experience and found them very expensive.

Avoid at all costs- Very poor. Very expensive- very slow service- wrong investigation- wrong medication given.I Waited 40 mins. No one advised me the vet was running behind. My dog is nervous, she was pacing and panting the whole time.Eventually, l saw Ella - l explained the problem with my dog. Scratching andPossible ear infection.Ella did not look in her ear with a Otoscope? but proceeded to stick in a cotton bud so far that my dog yelped in pain. She then poured a solution into my dogs ear who immediately shook her head and the drops went over my face and into my eyes. She then Muzzled my dog!? Who was by this time cowering down. Not at any point did she actually look into her ear canal. She prescribed Prednisone. When l got home l researched and it statesDogs taking Onsoir must not take these tablets.I rang the vet, who said“Sorry, we made a mistake, we will refund you”Today, l have changed vets.

I will try to put into words just how amazing the team at Vets4Pets Bridgend is but it is very difficult. The dedication and commitment the team has when it comes to getting your pet better is unbeatable. So so thorough in every check up, follow up, appointment and procedure. The reception staff are always so helpful and accommodating and you do really feel welcome. We deal with Dr Liv Matz in particular and to say she is a miracle worker isn’t enough. She is absolutely incredible. I have never felt more at ease putting my dog in someone else’s hands. She deals with his challenging behaviour with a sense of humour and his plethora of ailments with ease. I honestly don’t know where we would be without Liv. She is a credit to this branch and a credit to Vets4Pets in of itself. You can see her passion and care in every single encounter with our dog. Any question, query or concern you have Liv will answer immediately. We are so so lucky to have Vets4Pets Bridgend looking after our dog at his most critical times, it means the world and more to us. I truly cannot recommend them enough!

I would recommend everyone avoids this place like the plague.I have used this vet on countless occasions and always been overcharged.they once tried to charge me 20 odd pounds for 7 tablets of omeprazole!!you can get them in B&M for 2 quid!! and yes they are the same as human tablets.I was charged 1600 quid for an operation, that I later found out.I could have had it done at half the cost at other vets.granted that's my fault for booking the dog in and having the operation there but still......But what really got me to write a review was the fact that today my dog was struggling to walk, and because the dog hasn't been there in over 16 months they wanted to charge me 160 quid before the dog even gets seen!!!!I had her seen for 35 pounds elsewhere! If you want to be overcharged go visit, vets4pets.If you want the same outcome at a highly cheaper rate, visit 99.9% of other vets in the area.I wont be going back.

Fred just had his first vaccines and microchip with a lovely vet nurse. Booking in was smooth and less than a 5 min wait. Nice staff. Spacious waiting area. Nice and calm. There's also a lift to the floor the vets are on. Good for mums with prams or for people with disabilities etc.
