Bupa Dental Care Oxford

I was a patient at this dental surgery since I was a child. As an adult I thought the care was good and I liked the advise my last routine appointment gave me, how to floss properly and how to even hold the floss to make it easier. I was never scared to go.I went for a routine checkup and hygienist once a year like clockwork as wellHowever during the height of the first COVID lockdown, I had no dental issues and didn't feel the need to book a routine appointment when trying to avoid contact with people, especially with vulnerable people at home. So I didn't!A year later after lockdown I went to book an appointme as I usually would, only to be told I was no longer a patient. Apparently if you don't go at least once a year they remove you as an NHS patient, with no warning whatsoever. Not even an email. You would think there would be better communication and perhaps exceptions during COVID era.Ironically I wanted to swap to a private patient but alas, I've moved to a different Bupa Surgery now

I recently had a root canal treatment performed by Dr. JJ at the Oxford Bupa Centre, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and expertise I received.From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at ease. Dr. JJ's professionalism and knowledge were evident throughout the entire process. Not only did he explain the procedure thoroughly, but he also ensured that I was comfortable and pain-free throughout.The procedure itself was remarkably smooth and efficient, thanks to Dr. JJ's precision and skill. His attention to detail and commitment to patient care truly set him apart. I felt like I was in the hands of a true expert.The recovery process was surprisingly comfortable, and I experienced minimal discomfort, all thanks to Dr. JJ's expertise. I am genuinely grateful for the excellent care I received at the Oxford Bupa Centre, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. JJ and his team for any dental needs.Overall, my experience here was exceptional, and I can confidently say that Dr. JJ and the Oxford Bupa Centre provide top-notch dental care. Thank you for making a potentially daunting procedure such a positive experience.

My husband and I had a really great experience at Bupa Oxford yesterday as NHS patients.We saw Jagot, who we are happy to say, was the best dentist we have ever seen.He treated us with respect and welcomed us with a handshake, which was reassuring from the start.His care and advice were exemplary. He clearly informed us about the health and care of our teeth and any necessary action needed to maintain our now elderly getting teeth.We never felt patronised or ticked off in any way, especially as we hadn't visited a dentist for a long time.We would also like to applaud the helpful cheerful reception staff. We have never laughed so much when dealing with dental receptionists.In the past, the receptionist at past practices have often been rude and unhelpful. This is certainly not the case at Bupa Oxford.We would particularly like to mention Maggie, who, in our opinion, has gone over and above in her dealings with us. Her friendliness and willingness to do the best she can for you is fantastic.

Have been going here for ages. Wannitta is by far the best hygienist I have seen - she is friendly, helpful, and clear about what to do to look after my teeth as well as possible, and is generally great. 5* for her.The dentists seem to come and go a bit but they have all been friendly and professional. The practice is well located for the city centre - the building's a bit tired internally but it works and it's not like you spend all that much time there so doesn't really matter. Bit pricey but so it goes, and at least their prices are online.

There is only 1 dentist that works on a Saturday, which is the only day I can easily visit and having just visited him, he was so rude and dismissive that I will have to change to a new surgery. It's a real shame as it's in the center of Oxford and in a nice building.. customer service is so easy to get right, but sadly so often not delivered

Attended my hygienist appointment with Wannitta today. Always provides an excellent service. Very mindful of you being comfortable and puts you at ease when cleaning your teeth. Very reassuring and clearly wants to provide the best treatment for you. The best hygienist I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few over the years.

I recently went to the hygienist in this practice and I received an amazing service. Wannitta and her assistant Yunus were professional and friendly. Wannitta gave me practical advice and recommendations that I hugely appreciate. She quickly put me at ease and I left the practice with a big smile on my face. I don't think I've had a better experience with a hygienist before.My experience with the dentist there was not as positive. The dentist spend ages talking to me about how bad the situation was and I left feeling quite stressed. I followed up on this visit and sought second opinion from another dentist and it turned out that the Bupa dentist did not make a very accurate diagnosis. Being friendly to patients is not an extra but a must in my opinion. It can help anxious patients like myself feel more at ease and visit the practice more often.

Amazing, amazing service and experience. Sehnam and her colleague were so caring and passionate about fixing what I wasn't happy with. Them along with the reception team worked so hard to fit me in despite being super busy. They are an excellent team and I no longer dread the dentist.

Wannitta with the assistance of Darian is doing an amazing job with my teeth. I am very pleased with the attention to detail, the advice, and the feeling that I am in safe hands. Wannitta has a great energy about her, really invigorating. It's great to see improvements with each visit.
