Short stay car park full of taxis due to their usual area being closed off for works. I was picking someone up and had 20 minutes to wait so I thought I would try the main car park on the other side of the tracks. Only option there is to pay £10 for a full day. What are you meant to do?

BE CAREFUL!!! No ticket came out so assumed it had ran out of paper. It also didn't say my card had been declined/payment hadn't been accepted so I assumed it had been paid. Just had a PCN come through my door and I wanted to appeal. When I checked my statements no payment had gone out so now there's no proof. Complete scam. Will never park in an NCP Carpark again.

Busy, not well organised and a bit of a pain to access. Station is tired looking, often leaking and not very clean. Toilets are either awful or freshly mopped. Staff have been pleasant enough.

It's a car park, a park for cars where they can nap while you ride the train. As i don't own a car I haven't been able to quiz it on the experience bur I'm sure it would relay an enjoyable period of stationary time without me. Maybe in future entertainment for the cars could be provided? Another idea would be the possibly of a place whereby your car could partake in social activities with other cars such as dances, speed dating and debates? Obviously we don't want loutish cars zooming around beeping and acting drunkenly, but I really do feel that we need to give all those cars something to do!

The Newport station carpark. Featuring designated area for vehicles, a turning around bit and a myriad of people who may or may not be friendly. The carpark does not have a waiting area outside but you can wait in the station. The carpark is only accessible once you go around the roundabout. Watch out for coaches.

Plenty of spaces, free for w0 minutes to collect someone off a train, but can't pay by the hour, so it has to be a 24 hour ticket if staying longer! Which is bad especially as trains are constantly late!!!
