Martha is the best! Took so much care and attention to the placement of the tattoo. Both look amazing so will 100% be coming back. The whole studio was so clean, loved the aesthetic and super easy to find :)

Had my first ever tattoo with Cara! Had an amazing experience, was super nervous but Cara put me at Peace instantly. She done an amazing job. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend going there all of the artists are incredible!

Saw Cara at the Cardinal Room for two tattoos, one small fine line tattoo and another was addition of a floral design to one of my existing tattoos. Loved the design that Cara had drawn up for me, so beautiful and very happy with both tattoos. Everyone in the studio were so welcoming, friendly, and professional. Would highly recommend and will be returning for any future tattoos!

Really nice place. Recommend!Professional team who were happy to help with my enquiries & always responded in good time. Upon arrival it's hard not to notice how nice the place is, noticeably clean with good vibes. All the staff were so friendly & welcoming, but Jules was a stand out for me. I've had a good amount of piercings over the years, but Jules stood out as being very accommodating & honest. She clearly knows her stuff & I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in a new piercing, or requiring any assistance with an existing one.I'm yet to have a look through the different tattooists work, to maybe book in for some ink. But while I was there, 2 other people were being tattooed & I could clearly see the patience & professionalism the artists have. Plus just going off of the photos & artwork on display you could see that the Cardinal Room artists are worth checking out!Thanks again Cardinal Room team, especially Jules, for helping me resolve my piercing enquiries.I will be booking in again for more body jewellery & most likely some ink too!

Such a welcoming studio as soon as you walk in. I saw Jules who was so friendly and kind, she did a conch piercing on me which I’m so happy with! She spoke through every step of the way with me and I cannot recommend her or the studio enough! I will definitely be booking in here again ☺️

I chose this tattoo studio due to it's modern, light, open space, the artist being female and the good reviews. I contacted them, paid a £60 deposit and booked an appointment with Martha for two old tattoos to be improved.I was expecting Martha to provide designs which we would agree in advance of the appointment. Despite chasing her, Martha didn't send me anything until 48hrs before my appointment. The sketch wasn't what I wanted, but she refused to do any further iterations and said we would agree the designs together on the Friday during my appointment. I was really uncomfortable about this, but agreed to it despite my better judgement.On the morning of the appointment, The Cardinal Room cancelled my appointment due to Martha's car breaking down. I interpreted this as serendipity and said I'd prefer not to reschedule. I said I was unhappy about the lack of work done on designs in advance of my appointment and would prefer to go elsewhere. I requested that they return my £60 deposit, given that (a) Martha had only done one sketch for me and (b) they had cancelled the appointment, but sadly they refused to refund me.

Just a delight to visit. My wife and I visited for a tattoo each and I genuinely had one of the nicest afternoons I can remember. Lovely team of talented professionals that make you feel as much a friend as a client. Can't recommend highly enough.

My last experience of a “tattoo parlour” was 50 years ago. Then it was a dingy back street shop in Portsmouth, and a bloke with a fag hanging out of his mouth trying to copy pictures in a book. Not this place. Clean, hygienic, modern, friendly, and professional. Only the best artists picked to work here, doing some amazing work. I had a tattoo done of my sadly lost Labrador copied from a photograph. It’s fantastic.

Fantastic - Sharnie did a custom solar system tattoo for me from an image I supplied, with a few little additions. Great consultative discussion first, lovely to talk to whilst the tattoo was done, and a brilliant result. I will definitely go back once I’ve decide what I want next time :)EDIT (because apparently I can’t post a second independent review….) - I worked out what I wanted, sort of, and Sharnie turned it into an amazing musician ribbon tattoo. So incredibly happy with it, her artistic vision took my half-baked idea and turned it into something I love. And we hatched a plan for something else in the future too. Huzzah!

I won a giveaway for a tattoo with Martha of Dwight from the Office with a pumpkin head. Not only was the booking process easy, the whole tattooing experience was easy, comfortable and fun. She designed and tattooed exactly what I wanted down to every tiny detail. The studio is beautiful and clean and Martha was super lovely and did such an amazing tattoo.I also ended up getting a spontaneous nose piercing with Jules as she had some space to fit me in after my tattoo. She was very professional, calm and funny!Highly recommend this studio!
