Torus is a very bad company. They are lying to you all the time. Their antisocial behaviour team is an absolute rubbish and unprofessional people.I don’t know what else to say. If you want to rent or buy anything from them, just don’t….. that’s it.

After having a lot of mould in my mums house in a newly decorated bedroom the surveyor come out after 2 months, she then waited another month before they sent someone out they spray a mould spray on it only done half the job ripped wallpaper off and have left us with a room that looks a show and only half done, all the clothes from the wardrobe are full of mould absolutely disgusting service in this day and age a family are expected to live in this. My mum has contacted torus again today and they are now saying it’s going to be min March before they can come back out and look at it, brand new blinds are being ruined all the decorating has been ruined and all the clothes are ruined next step will be going to see a solicitor

Appalling service.People on the phone doesn’t understand that not everyone rents their properly and can’t understand the concept of a leaseholder property.Gardens aren’t managed to a. Acceptable standard despite putting service charge up to £120 a month. Vans park outside property without the employees even getting out their vans. They don’t use clean water to mop and stay on the bottom floor. If they do get out their vans the lean against the fences smoking. I really could go on.

Asked for a door for over 2 years. Monthly updates/followups and still nothing. Aggressively asked why I refused to pay 1 month advance. It beggers believe that the comprehension you thinking you have any say over there massively over stretched failings. Paying yourself is not a option either.

Taken over 7 months for damp and mold repair thats still not fixed. Had to lift carpet because it is soaking. Still got hole in celling the mold and damp paint is still wet after 6 days. Avoid torus at all costs. They will ruine your property.

Long history of incompetence in relation to dealing with complaints. The block I live in is run down due to specific anti social behaviour tenants. Having to tolerate intimidating behavior and unkept communal hallways and back areas. Housing officer, anti social behaviour officer and manager above ignoring issues. Honestly don't know what their role is as they fail to have any work ethic. Since Covid it has gone worse. Never see any staff on site.

I have a 87 year old mother who has just been discharged from hospital she has multiple co morbidities and was without central heating and hot water for over seven hours. There was no answer with the emergency phone number after numerous times I gave in and called riverside who tried to call on my behalf, all to no avail. How can a company leave vulnerable people in danger.

Leaving this review because Torus keep ringing me at weekends and evenings to fill in a survey.Major repairs are just left for months and months. My kitchen floor had been reported and in the cold weather last year completely fell apart, I had a visit from a joiner at Christmas who booked the repair in and asked me what colour tiles I wanted. The week of the repair I rung Torus who had no clue about the repair and even tried to say that it could have been a bogus caller rather than admit they had made a mistake. Even when I had made a complaint which had to be escalated, they still would not admit the mistake and said they could find no record of the visit. Even though there are only two joiners in the Liverpool area. The person dealing with the complaint claimed she didn't know the repair times policy and it wasn't her job to know. This is information clearly visible on Torus' website.The online complaints form also doesn't work, the person dealing with the complaint only gets part of your complaint, at the first stage of my complaint the person I had spoke to only had half of the first line, which wasn't even a full sentence and made no sense, and she didn't even ask me about whether this was correct but said she had just assumed this was all I had to say.Also when switching to UC from Housing Benefit, the income team at St Helens kept telling me to find a months rent in advance, £400, out of my UC and pay it to them. I was living on minimum UC at the time and had less than £500 a month to live on for myself and my son.They no longer threaten vulnerable tenants with a £100 charge on reporting repairs but this was something they were doing for years, to the point where I was locked out of my home in December and they refused to come and help me until I paid them £100 there and then.

Really need to train the lads who work with them how to talk to people with respect.Came home to work being done on a neighbours house, van was parked blocking my drive (on a dropped kerb aswell) so I beeped. Lad in the van didn't seem very eager to move, beeped two more times and finally he moved.Got out my car and was met with the worst attitude. Apparently it was my fault for not being able to read minds that he couldn't find his keys. (How stupid of me).He then proceeded to change from a fully grown man to a teenage boy shouting eeeeee" out of his window. This is after he effed and Jeffed at me.Then my mother came put due to hearing all the commotion. My mum is in her 60s may I add and was met with the same effing and jeffing that I was met with.Seeing as these fully grown men are working in people's homes day in day out you would think they'd be taught some basic manners and also know the law of not parking on a dropped kerb blocking someone's driveway. But clearly instead they think it's totally okay to shout abuse at women on their own.Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and childish too. Glad the work wasn't being done at our home and I didn't have to deal with them. Reg of the van was MT22 EPP just incase anyone wants to turn the disgraceful lad away in future. Especially if you're a female on your own.I'm not even with torus housing and even I realise why the reviews are so terrible because they have disgraceful boys working for them."

Being harassed, my sons car scratched by a fellow resident because I reported him fir repeatedly flytipping. Police are involved but because Torus refuse to put up cameras / cctv they have no proof to prosecute. Torus claim no prosecution they can't evict. What am I supposed to do? Live being harassed by this tenant?
