Cake Stuff

Have used this company for the past few years, but I’m disappointed that the collection facility has now been stopped. I live quite locally and often get last minute cake orders for which I don’t always have the supplies that I need, beforehand I could order and within a couple of hours be able to nip down and collect my items free of charge. Not now. Now its postage cost and delivery waits/possible delays, which obv are no use for last minute orders :-(Update - have just grudgingly went to order a delivery, total cost of items £19 and if I want the items in next 2 days........£12 delivery! If I’m happy enough to wait until nearly next week, its still £7! Not good considering I used to order and collect the same day for free! :-(

I have now placed 3 orders with Cake Stuff. From start to finish, first class service. My orders arrive promptly beautifully packed. Anything fragile well wrapped. The DPD delivery driver is clean tidy, polite and goes above and beyond. Totally recommend this company.

It's OK for cake boxes & boards also all roll out paste & stuff decorating gear for cakes ,loads of other goods to for other interests.

Not impressed! I've been a trade customer for 4 years. My parcel has gone missing. Instead of cake-stuff sending a replacement and claiming back costs on DPD insurance for the missing items I will have to wait 3-5 days for my parcel to be found by DPD first.It took me 1 hour to get through to Cake-Stuff as the line kept saying 'on another call' I finally get though and explained the items were urgent! I told the lady DPD said if Cake-Stuff send me a replacement parcel DPD would return the lost parcel directly to them if they called DPD to authorise it. The lady at Cake-Stuff said she'd contact DPD and call me back. I said I was desperate as there are several weddings, baby showers and parties to do cakes for between Friday and Sunday for which I now have no cake leveller as ours is broken. Cake-Stuff call back and tell me my parcel would be here today or tomorrow, relieved I phoned DPD again to confirm however, they said it's lost and being searched for which takes 3-5 days. So basically I now feel Cake-Stuff 'spun me a line' to avoid taking action. I will have to close my shop tomorrow while I try to find items to complete my order, I'm now 3 days behind on my work as the order should've been here days ago. I cannot believe that despite having used this company for 4 years they've been so unhelpful and far from trueful about when I can expect an order which is now classed as lost.To add insult to injury I call back at 4.10pm only to get a voicemail recording which says they're on lunch and will reopen at 1pm. Absolutely disgraceful.

This website is fantastic. The items and international shipping are competitively priced.My order arrived rather quickly and my items were packaged beautifully so they would not be damaged in transit.

Ordered on Wednesday night and arrived Saturday morning. Beautiful and sturdy packaging for such a cheap item, gravity sticks. Highly recommended. Even Kev the DPD driver was friendly and bang on time.

Contacted them on the 14th October regarding my missing order, 4 days later and I still haven't heard from them. Yodel have wiped their hands of it and told me to contact the company I ordered from and they don't seem to care about their customers as I haven't heard back. I was left to run around locally to find similar alternatives in order to make the 2 cakes I had been asked to. I'm now out of pocket and extremely unhappy.

Terrible customer service where staff that think it's ok to question your skills because one of their products fail's then try to blame it on the fact that my bussiness is not strictly a cake making company.Then to be openly accused of making a false claim to pay pal when their product was clearly not as discribed, even telling pay pal it was a false claim.You even phone my own personal home phone to me to tell me to Cancel the claim and to Tell me This is whats going to happen" before getting very agressive over the phone when I said that I was busy
