Life Size Architecture

I head up the Brighton Office for national Approved Inspector- Sweco Building Control. We have has a professional relationship with Life Size for four years and have always found them to be a knowledgeable and efficient architecture firm. I have been particularly impressed with their 'end to end' ethos, clients are guided not though only the design phase, but also the construction and completion phases. From a Building Control perspective this ensures the quality of the design is replicated within the construction. I would recommend Life Size to my friends!

We used LifeSize to design and oversee the full restoration and refurbishment of our Victorian home. Rob and his team guided and supported us through the whole process, providing inspiration and feedback so that we could achieve more than we’d ever imagined. Their big picture thinking really helped us get going and their precise attention to detail meant the work was done to a very high standard. They worked well with the contractor and enabled us to overcome some significant hurdles – not least that our one year project started just 3 weeks before the first lockdown. The end result is amazing and we love it.

Rob, Luke and the team at Life Size were professional from the outset. They provided us with great advice and inspired ideas. They were with us ever step of the journey and created a beautiful visual pack to help us make decisions, bring the ideas to life and move the project forward. We love living in our completely re-designed and refurbished house and found their skills, insight and advice invaluable to our project.

Rob and the team are fantastic. They designed a large double storey extension for us along with internal changes in layout own both floors. The communication was great from the beginning, listening to our ideas and following through with updates throughout the project. Life Size have a great relationship with many builders in Brighton and Sussex and are very well respected within the industry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them especially on larger projects.

We used Life Size as our Main Architect/Designer/Project Manager for our new build home in Brighton (completed Aug 2020). We were very happy with our selection, and the look & feel of our new home is great. The Life Size team were professional and easy to work with. Throughout the whole process the Project Management was on point, with a client based approach. We would recommend Life Size and use them again in the future.

We've now used LifeSize for two home projects and each time Rob and team have been excellent to work with. Our second project was on a larger scale than the first and we had to adapt the drawings and build specifications throughout the project to meet my daughters physical needs. To this end Rob and team were fantastic and extremely flexible and creative in ensuring our build was of the highest standard and catered for all our family requirements.We shall definitely use LifeSize again if we take on a third project.

We chose Life Size Architecture for our project to merge the basement flat of our property into the rest of the house, turning it into a large open plan kitchen and living space. Having never attempted such a big project, we had no idea where to start! Life Size were fantastic at guiding us through the process from beginning to end - they came up with really exciting ideas for the space and how to connect it with the rest of the house. Luke really understood our styles and tastes, and came up with brilliant solutions for some of our more unusual requests (like a hidden dog gate!). Luke and Mac managed the whole project for us and dealt with any issues along the way (including the tricky planning process), meaning it really was a stress free experience for us! We've ended up with a fantastic home that we never could have realised without Luke and the team. We've loved working with Life Size and we're almost sad the project is over - they'll definitely be getting a call if we ever tackle another! Thanks guys!

We recently used Life Size to design the remodel and extension of our 1930s detached house, of which we have just completed the first phase. Rob and the team were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the whole process - from helping us to explore different design ideas right through to assisting with selecting and meeting with the chosen building team.
