If you’re thinking of having Phil undertake carpentry at your house please do not hesitate. He is a consummate professional, excellent at his craft and on top of that a really friendly bloke. We wanted a bespoke staircase fitted in our home, modelled on the original 1960s open tread staircase, and Phil did an excellent job (see photos). He worked so hard to make the staircase practical and beautiful and we have had so many comments on how beautiful it is. We would happily use Phil again and recommend him to friends and family.

He will spend as long as you require to discuss the project and will always find a solution which, when finished, is exactly what you were expecting. Our requirement for an L-shaped wardrobe was by no means straightforward but Phil initially spent a great deal of time working with us to perfect the design. His expertise in identifying what would and wouldn’t work was invaluable. Phil’s attention to detail and quality at both design stage and during construction of the wardrobes was superb.
