Beautiful surroundings,excellent for walking the dog,lots for the kids to explore,worth checking the website as there are always something going on all year round

Mugdock Country Park - East Car Park
Car park is mostly gravel and has a good 30 spaces taking you across the moor to the main centre or across to the Murdock castle could do with some more bins and a lot more info boards for taking it across the moor. Plenty of warnings to dog owners about dog mess.

This car park is invariably very muddy, and the main entrance has some rather large holes which cannot be adquately described, sitting as they do somewhere between pot hole/puddle and small pond. Nevertheless, on a busy weekend it is much more likely that a space will be found here compared to the main car park.

Small and restrictive and possibly not the best car park for this park. I would not count on there being a space. Even on a soggy day

In 2005 fathers day I put my late dad's ashes here as in the 80s 90s he'd wild camp here.when I go up i have good memories of him camping ..Alexander burns 5/5/1935-6/6/2005 RIP DAD

Fantastic place to walk and learn about Scottish history.South car park is very small.
