West Wimbledon Cattery

The set up is fairly standard for a decent cattery - each cat has essentially a miniature shed to themselves and then an enclosed, open air area. The 'shed' has a shelf to give them levels and warm bedding and the heating is on 24 hours a day in there. So all perfectly solid and effective for looking after your cat.What gave me greater peace of mind and was really positive was how good the owner was with our cat as soon as we got there. He was chatting to her and picked her up and cuddled her - and she accepted this. He clearly knows and loves cats, which really came across and this was the thing that merited a really strong rating from me.

David was very nice and friendly. The cattery accommodation is well setup and clean with both and indoor and outdoor area for each cat to roam individually. We left our 4 month old kitten for his first time and with a load of instructions for feeding, all of which were no problem for David and our kitten was well looked after and clean when we returned. One minor improvement could be to send a pic or an update after the kittens first night to put our (my wife's) mind at ease. Other than that, a well earned 5 stars and would recommend / use West Wimbledon Cattery again.

We left our cat, Moana, for 3 weeks while we went on holiday and she was looked after very well. I got pictures and updates with reassurances she ate well and got cuddles. Our cat was also picked up and dropped back home again which is a great service if that’s needed. I was very pleased with our experience and with the communication with David. Thank you, Moana will be back.

Our kitten had a brilliant two weeks with David - David picked him up and dropped him back off at home, which was a lifesaver. He looked healthy and happy on his return and we would definitely ask David to look after him again when we are next away! Thank you!

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! ALL ABOUT THE £££ Dishonest owner. I got my cat back, after just a short week, with cat flu, which he's vaccinated against. David was totally oblivious to his constant sneezing, instead claiming he never had a case in 30 years! And that my cat was a happy cat" a day before my return. When 2 vets confirmed

Wonderful. Our delicate little rescue cat has stayed a number of times and always came back warm and fluffy (in winter) and without fleas (in summer). You don't get that with a dog in kennels. She has clearly been very content there and very well looked after. When my son returned home from Uni with his new cat - students need a mouser - we asked David for his advice on how to get the two to get along, and he gave us very sound advice which worked. He understands cats. The only thing is, this cattery gets booked up long before Xmas and summer hols, seriously long before, so you have to plan around that. But this year shortly before Xmas we asked if he could cat-sit because we wanted to go abroad, which he did. We live locally - he only cat sits locally at Xmas - but it was a great relief to have someone check on the cats and the house. Five stars. We are so lucky to have this so close to home.

Our cat has been going to David for just under a year and has always been at ease and very well looked after by David. He is friendly, good value for money and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a cattery in London.

I needed somewhere for my cat to stay for four nights whilst my flat was being redecorated and David was great to deal with. The accomodation is clean and tidy and there is heating for when it gets cooler so the cats are comfortable no matter when they stay. I don’t like being without my Baxter, but I was comfortable knowing he was safe and well-looked after with David. Would certainly recommend and use again!

We used the Wimbledon Cattery for the first time for our June holiday this year. Our cat came back looking exceptionally well and happy! He is a stray that was in foster care before coming to us so I was concerned he wouldn't settle easily. I would definitely recommend and will be using again for our next holiday.
