Maldon Splash Park

Cool place to hang out with family on a sunny day. I went with the kids, and they loved it.There's also meals not far from the Splash where you can get something to eat.

Amazing place for children and family. Splash park must be booked online, you will need to register first. I’d recommend to book 2/3sessions as it gets booked out quickly also 25 mins per session isn’t enough as kids want to play more hence why booking a few slots in one go would be ideal.Things to take when arriving:- swimming costumes- spare clothes- flip flops/crocs/saddles- towels- kids toys- kids sand toys spade bucket etc for sand play area- picnic essentials (blanket, chairs) if wish to have picnicThere are fish and chip shops, burger place etc. I’d advise to get plenty of your own water as it can be expensive buying from the shops plus kids get very thirsty.Overall, amazing fun day :-)

Very good venue, staff at Splash were accommodating and professional. Only two reasons why it hasn't received 5 stars. 1) could do with parasols for parents and 2) the venue car parking management is terrible and requires proper organising to manage parking when hosting large events.

Great splash park…when it’s actually open.So many hot weather days mid-week that would be great to take the little ones to in the day (not of school age), or for school age kids to cool off in after school, but alas they’re not open.I don’t really see what the point in building it was if it’s shut 90% of the time. Such a shame.Keep an eye open for when they actually open but if it’s midweek and not the school holidays basically just Head to Brentwood instead!

A lovely little area, great during the summer to take the whole family. Added to the water park is a pirate ship, and a great wall around the river with ships, shops and docking areas. All in all a great family day out and you can even hire a beach hut to change to and from in.

such a beautiful place, nice little harbour village with perfect walk alongs an amazing park for the little ones plus a little splash park that has to be booked in advanced ! but worth it !

What a great big splash pool, brilliant for entertaining the kids on a hot day. No! You have to pre book! OK not a major issue, just slightly annoying! Secondly your session last 25mins, the kids deserve a good hour of play. Could be so much better. I understand it gets busy but sessions should be longer.

Wow what a great value for money activity for the local community and wider audience. The area was kept clean, very well managed by the staff and the timeslots allow for many to visit during the day!

Promenade Valley in Maldon is one of the much-loved and favourite places with everyone of all ages - in particular, with children and families. The Valley is located right in the middle of the park, hosting three of the much-loved and favourite attractions - Maldon Splash Park, Maldon Beach Huts, and Valley Galleon Play Area with Sandpit - with visitors from locals and afar!A large fenced splash park seems very appealing and enticing to children in particular. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and tickets must be purchased online.A number of very colourful beach huts are located right next to the mini-galleon play area with a sandpit. These can be hired for the day. Becah Hut is a perfect base for anyone visiting Promenade Park for the day and a great hut if you want to use the Splash Park! Each hut is equipped with a cupboard, deckchairs, internal lighting, and an electrical plug socket. Each of the huts is named after birds found in the local area.Splash Park and Beach Huts are available for hire during the summer months only. Advance booking via the website is strongly recommended for both the Splash Park and Beach Huts.
