Bellevue Farm Tours and Holiday Cottages

We had a great time here with our little ones (ages 2 and 4) - there was so much for them to do above and beyond seeing a super range of animals and feeding them (which was great!) including numerous craft activities, microscopes to look into, toy tractors to ride about on, sandpits, a swing set, a slide, construction toys, play farm toys, a fairy hunt and more! There’s also a little shop with souvenirs you can buy, snacks and meat/ eggs you can buy to take home. It’s all very well maintained, incredibly set up and the lady was super friendly, helpful and generous with her time to all families. There’s also wifi, clean toilet facilities and terrific views across Arran.

Fantastic family stay in the Sleepy Sheepy Cottage for 7 nights at Bellevue Farm. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and cosy. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and appreciated. Staying on the farm meant we had access to the garden with trampoline and swings. The main bonus being access to the farm barn throughout our duration of our stay. This was excellent for our 2 young children who absolutely loved the on-site amenities. This was especially great for wet days. We received a farm tour during our stay and got to feed the animals. It was excellent staying on the farm seeing all the animals and having local produce to buy in the farm barn. The highlight was Bellevue's own pork links, absolutely delicious. Highly recommended to stay and visit especially for families with young children. Blackwaterfoot is a great location on Arran.

Very well kept farm with a range of animals. The owner was very friendly and took the time to talk about the animals which added a lovely personal touch. The farm is very well kept and well set up for hand washing etc. Also lots for the kids too. Highly recommend a visit if you are on Arran.

Had the BEST time today at Bellevue Farms on Isle of Arran. Easy parking, easy walking and hospitality is great! Informational as well as just plain fun! Kids activities in the barn in case of inclement weather. Animals included sheep, donkeys, goats, alpacas, highland cows (Hettie, Hazel and Heather) as well as rabbits, guinea pigs and even a turkey!

very small farm compared to those we have visited but staff are full of knowledge, the play barn is great for kids wanting to play and learn about things on the farm. The staff are lovely and happy to help. Gave 4 stars just as there isn't a great deal to do but it was a lovely morning regardless.

A wonderful place to go with the family. We went with our two children (4 and 2 years old) and we all had a great time. Wonderful views, lovely animals, lots of toys for the children to play with, interesting information displayed about the animals, comfortable place to have lunch or a cup of tea, and friendly hosts who looked after us very well during our visit. It’s also nice that it has a shop where to buy local produce. All very relaxing and fun for children and grown ups as well. We had a great time!

Friendly farming family and staff. Lots to see - great range of animals and lots for children and also adults to learn about farming. Also excellent meat for sale!

Great place to take young kids for a couple of hours. Animals to see, feed and pet. Plenty of picnic tables for eating at. Bring your own lunch is a must. Very reasonable price list for drinks. Lots of parking, easy access for buggies and push chairs. Toilets and hand washing facilities.
