Nice little pub with good outdoor seating. Staff are really friendly lots of things to do throughout the week. Pub quiz pool night karaoke night and lots more.

This place is gradually improving. Better beer selection. The place is still somewhat soulless, has the feel of a city pub (not a good thing) it could be more welcoming

Really lovely friendly pub. All the staff were fantastic. In particular the Pub Manager Matt.You don't get pub staff like this very often these days.Attentive and friendly.We stayed in Downley for the weekend and the pub was perfect for what we needed.

0 stars! We came on a quiet Sunday afternoon for some lunch. We ordered at 12:40pm and half the food came out at 1:15pm, the rest didn't come out until 14:00pm after asking multiple times where the remaining food was. The so called manager has awful customer service rolling her eyes at us. We eventually we got a £5 refund after complaining as they forgot some food too.

Popped down for a bite to eat, kitchen hasn’t long been opened. Honestly lovely food! Well worth a visit. Staff very friendly.

Getting better than it was a few years back. Ale quality can vary a lot though, if you prefer lager or cider you'll be fine. Getting more expensive by the day, definitely not the cheap local option it used or be.
