It is 08:00 on the 27th of August 2019.Huge tickets queues outside the station!!! Why? Not enough ticket machines and staff available. It takes you between 30 to 40 min to purchase your travel ticket!Another day the 14th of October. Two tills open, two machines working, but still waiting for 20 min to buy an expensive ticket!

I can use my visa to check in from “lime house” but not to check out from this station “Basildon”.Then a staff here made me pay a ticket to the other direction from “Basildon” to “Upminster” in order to check out at “Basildon”.They just want to double charge people.

Absolutely loved the swarm of ticket checkers this morning, insisting to people they must pay the full ticket amount, yet I’m currently sat here waiting for my LATE train. Maybe provide a full service before asking for full fares? Maybe make your tickets accessible rather than having no-one working on the booth and only one machine working during rush hour?

It's where I lived for 30 years, like any town it has everything,and then you have the festival leisure park, excellent,all your needs catered for,for a fantastic night out

Good local station. Has toilets but just after the ticket barriers not on the station like other places. Very clean station
