I found the Gun Room by chance while on holiday. And I'm so glad I did. A large shop, with all you could possibly need. A nice sized clothing and accessories section, with air rifles one end and shotgun/rifles down the other. Competent, Friendly and Welcoming staff.Initially my partner and I were just enamoured with the amount of stock of air guns from replica Colt Pistols to Competition Steyr Pistols and cheaper break barrel rifles to top of the line PCP's.Then we discovered they have 2 ranges an indoor and outdoor. We paid £25 each for an hour on the indoor range (£10 with your own gun) and were given top of the line BSA's, with an efficient run down of the gun, we were left to our own devices. With paper targets and a load of spinner and other targets of different sizes we had plenty of shooting options. Staff were happy to fill up our guns and pellets to no end.Another visitor on the range asked about zeroing his rifle and the gentleman took his time to show him how to zero a gun and helped him do it himself. It was fantastic service.We enjoyed it so much we went back again a few days later. Superb gun room.

Nice selection of products but very poor customer service. I visited with a view to buy a coat, but at no point did anyone ask whether I required assistance despite there being several staff available. I have emailed the store but received no response. I won't be visiting again.

New to using a gun, and my first trip to this gun shop. What a wonderful experience. The shop itself was incredibly well stocked of all sorts of things but my main purpose was zeroing my air rifle. Mark checked the gun over and took me through to the indoor range where he so quickly and so efficiently set my gun up perfectly. I was extremely impressed with how skilful he was at zeroing the gun and his target shooting was jaw dropping! In addition to this he gave me so many tips as to what to do and what not to do. This, plus a basic explanation of the pellet’s t trajectory made my whole experience at this store very memorable and very impressive. I highly recommend this store to others for a first class experience. To quote Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back”Thank you one and all.

Have used them in the past when in Devon over the years, at their old shop and now at the new one.Whilst in buying ammo at the weekend we had a look at second hand rifles. We're assisted by very knowledgeable and attentive staff who listened to what we wanted gave us the options from their stock and answered any questions we had.A good experience and a good range of guns not at all pushy for a sale. We did buy from them and would recommend them. They are not the cheapest but we're there abouts on prices locally but only give a 3 month warranty on second hand rifles. We will go back when in Devon.

Awesome experience today on both indoor and outdoor ranges, could have spent all day here, can't wait to come back. The staff are all so very knowledgeable and welcoming.

I was blown away - pun intended - with this store and the amazing range of all-weather clothing. Even my wife fancied getting a new Barbour coat! I'm not a big fan of guns, but there was a nice range of rifles and shotguns. Having never looked down the barrel of a gun, I took at shot - sorry, another terrible pun - of one on my camera phone.

We had a good time shooting for an hour with the familiy, shame that it was raining so we couldn't use the outside range, would gladly come back another time to shoot again and go outside aswell.

The staff are friendly and professional. I requested the indoor range for some product testing which they kindly allowed me to carry out. An unusual request, but they provided me with a brilliant range facility and were available when needed.

Took my BSA R12 in as it had become jammed. Was expecting it to be sent away but John stripped it down there and then and sorted it.Excellent service. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you.
