Honestly the worst GP I’ve ever dealt with in my life. I’ve never once had a friendly interaction with any of the receptionists I really don’t know why they speak to people the way they do. I only moved house THIS week and I’m suffering with a really bad throat infection, not once have I had a face to face appointment with them since returning from Covid and they are saying at 3.20pm on a Friday I need to register with a doctors near my new address and get treated from them as they can’t deal with any throat problems from there. I’m already registered it really wouldn’t hurt them to prescribe me some anti biotics as they could clearly hear the struggle in me speaking on the phone, as if they wouldn’t have just dealt with it from over the phone anyway as that’s all they’ve ever done since Covid? They just want as little work as possible. I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with them again, so unhelpful. They know fine well at this time on a Friday it won’t be possible for me to get registered to a new doctors and get a prescription before the working day is up. what do they stand for because it’s certainly not to help people which is what a doctors is supposed to be? Completely useless and so rude.

Lovely GP practice. Never had a problem. With the admin and Doctors. Very swift recalls passed in by reception. It's challenging times. No complaints. A great Doctor's surgery, Very Friendly people

I’m hoping for improvement from my surgery. Today I had a pleasant conversation with my Dr so hopefully will go well.

I would give less stars if this was at all possible! I just called Links Medical for a sick line that I never received. On the 16th, I received an email that my renewed sick line was ready and would be emailed to me. I did not receive said email with the attachment. I contacted Links through the URL provided on the email to let them know I hadn't received it. No reply. I do the same again, I get a reply saying it was in fact emailed to me. Nothing else. I wait 25 minutes in the phone waiting line to speak to someone, I explain the situation and the receptionist says it was already emailed out and if I checked spam. I told her I haven't received it though and I checked everywhere, she insisted it has been mailed out without offering any help to get the sick note. At this point I repeat again that I require the sick note, she interrupts me and says but it's already been emailed to you". I got pretty annoyed because she interrupted me instead of listening. I spoke loud and clearly and said my employer was going to terminate my contract if they don't get the sick note

I would like to share my very positive experience today with Links Medical Practice. I called in order to have a telephone consultation with a GP. The receptionist who answered my call was very polite, friendly and helpful. She dealt with my call in a professional and efficient manner and was sympathetic to my issue. I had a call back within only a few minutes by a very polite, helpful and sympathetic GP, who very professionally and efficiently discussed my symptoms, and indicated a potential diagnosis. Not only that, but sent a prescription to my nearest pharmacy to be collected later today. I am very appreciative of such great service in a professional, respectful and friendly manner. Indeed, any time I have had cause to seek medical attention, I have always been dealt with professionally and with courtesy and in a friendly and reassuring manner by all staff at this practice that I have come into contact with.

11th May, 2023. At Links Medical Practices, Park Road, Aberdeen.So today I called the Links' reception and was attended to by this lovely and patient receptionist on duty. She was calm and very humble speaking with me and also trying to resolve my issue.I forgot to ask again for her name but she was amazing, calm and collected. I called at 12:10 and the discussion lasted for about 17 minutes and she was able to pull through for me. Thanks to that amazing and kind hearted receptionist. Her style of customer relations was top notch!

Most doctors are nice and helpful, but the receptionists are a JOKE. They're rude, judgmental and disorganised. They eye you up and down and you walk in, and have no manners what so ever. Not pleasant going in there at all.

I have been at the practice for 5 years and I only have good things to say, everybody is very pleasant and helpful.Unfortunately I needed two visits this week, but was met with the absolutely fantastic Faye who deserves a special mention. She handled my call back efficiently, within 15 mins of phoning. She was so helpful and reassuring in both appointment and over the phone, explaining every step of the way. She is a true credit to the nhs :)

Dr Louise Elliot is fantastic, a genuinely nice person as well as a professional GP. However, unfortunately the practice staff, non qualified secretaries are awful. Rude, insubordinate, power tripping, unhelpful, ignorant and deliberately awkward. Coming from a Serving RAF Officer Doctor of over 22 years, I would suggest going to another surgery. I will be reporting this to the GMC and also raising it with the NHS local board of which I am a member. Disgraceful conduct by receptionist.

Honestly coming from a practice that's shocking in Mintlaw this is a night and day, I've heard there is a rude receptionist but the rest are really nice and caring. Doctors are quick at coming out after checking in.
