Renting in today's market can be difficult; Hurst has done a great job at streamlining the process. We purchased our house through Hurst's in 2011 and were so happy with them that we sold our house through them in 2023. Ours was a particularly frustrating sale with issues both above and below us in the chain, but Hurst's were amazing at keeping us informed and pressing for information when needed. They provide such a personable and friendly service whilst also getting the job done. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to sell their prpoerty.

I took on Hurst given their competitive rates, unfortunately they continually let me down. Issues i had:- many points of contact, passed around to 3 different people who managed the letting arrangement- hurst does not manage on your behalf, continually felt they were a post box operation, they would simple pass communication back and forth and show no initiative. The potential tenant would ask for unrealistic requests and Hurst would pass these through only for me to challenge them and the tenant then complied, such as a 6 month clause on the tenancy request.- I passed my gardener details onto hurst and they said they contacted him and got no response. My gardener then showed that they had indeed never contacted him while i was out of the country.- The tenant pulled out after they failed to manage them and get the arrangements done for the property in time due to a lack of response and communication on emails from them.- I only found out the tenant pulled out after returning to the country and going into the Hurst office.

Thanks to Lewis, Will, Alexandra and the team for all your help with our sale. We opted for Hurst based on the initial valuation appointment with Lewis. He won us over with his knowledge of the local market and friendly approach, which we can confirm continues after they win the business! Other valuations we had from competitors were overly pushy or under prepared!

We were initially listed with YOPA however this didn’t work out as we felt they weren’t proactive enough with our flat sale in a very difficult market. After our first sale collapsed we chose HURST estate agents & we couldn’t have been happier. A BIG shout out to Lewis & the team at the High Wycombe branch for all their help. Professional, relaxed & always there to push matters when it needed it with the conveyancing solicitors. We really don't think we would have sold our flat to get our move to our next chapter in our lives without them. Highly recommended.
