Yi Man Tang Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

We had takeaway last night from this place and hands down best food we had in ages. Food was tasty full of flavours good sized portions and it’s been delivered earlier than we were expecting!

I accidentally spilt my drink and they make me pay for it still without given me a new one so I had no drink at all. .And as the drink went on the floor she didn't pit the wet board up for health and safety . My friend always has big lumps of chicken without the chef chopping it small and we told her before and they still do it in big lumps .

Warm and welcoming. Delicious food, first time eating here and will definitely eat here again! Plus brilliant new owners

Staff welcoming and friendly but the food was not good. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was bland and the only way I can describe the chicken in the main dish was soggy.

The beef in the chow mein and in curry was hard. The chicken in chow mein was way too soft which made taste funny. The desert caramelised bananas were tasteless. What a waste of money!

Excellent vegie choices, Excellent food and service.Wr had vegie hot and sour soup, vegie spring rolls for starters.We had vegies schezwan chicken and rice followed by pineapple fritters.All very nice. Definitely going back.Is under new management since four weeks.

I don't understand how there are glowing reviews of this restaurant dated 11months ago and older considering the fact that the restaurant only opened a week ago. When we arrived they only had one menu so they gave us that and a copy of the takeaway menu. The layout and numbering of the dishes were completely different so they gave us two copies of the takeaway menu. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. When we asked for the bill they said that they could only a accept cash as the card machine hadn't arrived yet.. Luckily we had sufficient cash. When we looked at the bill is was much more expensive than we expected. When we queried it they explained that eating in prices were higher than takeaway prices, which was pretty annoying considering that they hadn't mentioned this when giving us the takeaway menusas there was only a single copy of the menu folder for the whole restaurant. The bill was about 20% more expensive than the prices we had expected from the menus provided. For a new restaurant they know how to engender bad will and for that reason we won't be going there again. A pretty stupid attitude for a new business to adopt.
