Tom Callaghan Windows, Doors & Conservatories

Our recent purchase from Callaghan windows etc is our fourth from this company over a period of some 14 years. From the very first contact we were impressed with the presentation and sincerity of the company`s policy and the efficiency with which they followed up our enquiry, On each occasion after the work started the standard of workmanship in both the product we had chosen and the skill of the installers in completing the task, which was not always quite straight forward. Our latest purchase was for the installation of new windows and doors and the additional work of replacing the old bitumen felt covering on the flat roof of our kitchen extension and adding insulation to this area at the same time. As we expected the installation went well and we are delighted with our choice of Callaghan Windows to do this important work to our property.

First class service and quality doors and windows. Fitters installing door and window, first class work. They cleaned up after the installation. Communication with the company was very good.

After much deliberations on what to replace our old storm doors opted for solidor for quality and stylish look and not disappointed with the final result

I would not advise anyone to use this company. I have had nothing but problems with my windows. It has taken over a year to get the jobs completed, 3 windows had to be replaced as they were faulty, one of these had to be repaced twice. They obviously have a supplier that is of poor quality or the issues we have had would not have happened. The guys who fitted the windows were great, very pleasent and I have no issues with them. One of the women in the office is very helpful and could not be any more pleasent when dealing with her, the other woman is vile and gave me a torrent of abuse for asking for a date for the windows to be put in, a vile person who threatened to take me to court if i was cancelling, which I wasn't, I was just asking for a date as they had given me two previous dates and not notified us that either was being cancelled. I feel let down that a so called family bussiness that had been recommended to me were so un professional, unreliable and at times very disrespectful. I got new lintels, 7 windows 2 doors and a garage roof done, not a small piece of business, but was made to feel like a bother when they supplied sub standard products. They were very slow to responde to any issues reported, these included 3 of the windows having cement stuck to the glass and frame from the lintles they installed. Do yourselves a favour and steer clear.

Had Windows fitted today, fitted and finished in two days, tidy job and the fitters were polite and friendly, great price, very happy with the quality and service

I would not recommend using this company. Their installation team are very good and helpful. However the communication with customers is worse than any company I have known. They were surprised when I asked for definitive dates their faulty windows would be replaced as I needed dates to allow me to schedule in other trades. They have no QA as I had to have most of my windows replaced due to faulty glass, some more than once. Very disappointed with the company.

Really fantastic service. Great price (which included 10% returning customer discount). Brilliant fitting job as usual, the guys (Alan & Phil) were really professional, quick, and cleaned up - place was spotless when they left. Would definitely recommend.
