I have just completed my second Far and Ride holiday in Lofoten, Norway. I could not recommend Far and Ride, and this particular ride highly enough. Cathy was very helpful and responsive, the organisation from the booking to departure was flawless. The Lofoten ride was absolutely breathtaking, insane scenery and the most adorable horses with huge personalities. Everything about this experience was easy and I didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying myself.

With two riding holidays under my belt and 2 more coming up, it's safe to say that working with Far and Ride has been a pleasure. Our rep, Natalie, has gone above and beyond to ensure we are set up for success before our rides and has been on top of answering all our questions and requests. I can always expect a quick, detailed response from her - even answering questions I didn't even know I had! I was fortunate to have met her on an epic riding holiday in Morocco (the Horses, Dunes & Nomads ride, which she helped us plan).Far and Ride is a closely knit, family-run team who clearly cares about their clientele and their needs. I have no hesitation recommending them as a horse riding travel agency.

They are the best! I have been their customer since 2016 and booked several trips with Far and Ride. I have always had the most friendly and helpful experience with them. They will inform you very well with each destination and help you whatever question you might have. I highly recommend them!

Had an experience of a life time thanks to Far & Ride — from the bottom of my heart, if you’re looking to book a Horse Riding Trip, I can’t recommend Far & Ride enough!In short, I’ve just returned from a spectacular experience in Costa Rica at Hacienda Sassenberg with the incredible hosts Heiko and Jazmin. Booking it through Far & Ride was such a blessing. From my very first inquiry and email, I truly felt so supported and guided by Natalie who gave me such good advice, local insights, quick responses and great suggestions regarding my trip to Costa Rica. Natalie was so helpful in getting me prepared, answering all my questions over email and phone, and ultimately getting me booked up and confirmed for the trip.I also loved receiving the comprehensive preparation guide on what to think about, what to pack, how to make the most of the trip, cultural insights, etc. It made me feel very prepared and organised.My experience at Hacienda Sassenberg with Heiko and Jazmin was truly spectacular. They’re the most wonderful, welcoming, fun, and interesting hosts and I was so thrilled to learn so much from them. Their hacienda is state of art when it comes to the guest house, their finca, the riding & stable area, the views — and the food served was truly delicious.Throughout my week I got the chance to explore how to ride Western style, connect with all of their amazing horses & animals, try out so many local delicacies, visit countless different places in the area, ride 4X4, learn new language skills, experience Costa Rica's range of micro-climates, as well as meeting some of their wonderful friends. Truly, a magnificent week on all fronts.Huge thanks to Far & Ride and Hacienda Sassenberg for this magical experience.

Unas vacaciones en Croacia inolvidables!!. En Dalmation Hinterland mountains, con Stipe y su familia . Todo maravilloso, trato familiar, comida casera,, caballos maravillosos, y muy bien cuidados, y excursiones tan bellos ,no tengo palabras para describir una naturaleza tan bonita, y silencio total. La habitación muy cómoda, y Stipe siempre pendiente. Fui sola, y he vuelto con una familia de amigos hechos en Croacia!!!!

Cathy at Far and Ride was great helping me find a suitable location for my holiday this year. Having had various setbacks previously, I was so glad this trip worked out well.I had a marvelous time with Steve, Donna and the team at Los Olivillos (Axarquia mountain hideaway). The finca is so beautiful and Donna and Steve are wonderful hosts. (OMG the food!!! So good!) The horses were wonderful too - so well cared for and Steve matched us all to suitable horses with care and understanding.I can't wait to go back, just need to save up the pennies again!

Just back from another amazing trip organised by Far and Ride. Cathy is a pleasure to deal with. You will have all the information you need to prepare for your trip. I highly recommend the Friesian ride in Spain, top quality horses that you can tell are extremely well cared for and unbelievably well behaved, such an amazing breed of horse, it’s a real privilege to get to ride them.

Would highly recommend Far & Ride, a big thank you to Natalie for organising an unforgettable trip to a Canadian ranch for me and my daughter. We couldn’t have wished for lovelier horses and the hospitality was first class.

I’ve used Far and Ride a few times now and have found them to be efficient and professional yet always with a warm approach. You get the feel from their emails that they have listened to what you want and need. I have frequently emailed Natalie giving her rough dates with the requirement of ‘I would like to try something new’ and she has always delivered. Something that stands out if that they visit every location that they advertise so are well equipping to match person to ride. You won’t regret using them xx

I would highly recommend Far and Ride to create the best horse riding holiday for you. We had never done a riding holiday before, so didn't know what to expect. Natalie spent time getting to know our wants and needs and found somewhere perfect for my daughter to enjoy. We had a few issues (not Far and Ride's fault) that Natalie went above and beyond to resolve. In the end, my daughter had one the of the best holidays of her life.
