We decided to opt for an impromptu late evening tea. Lovely greeting on arrival & service from the gentleman on the till; after paying we were then told there was no clean class wear and it was only take away cups available. No bother, however, the establishment itself was in need of a deep clean. Tables were sticky as were the floors, with milk spillages left unattended along with litter and bits of food and sandwiches just in plain sight. Such a shame as we had heard great reviews, just really disappointing as the guy was so hospitable on arrival, but he can’t do it on his own. In need of a stronger team to assist with the cleaning and maintenance overall.

Wow !! Tried this establishment as an alternative to someone else. The items in the window looked fresh and of quality... so we thought we'd give it a try...Well, boy, was it worth it !!My wife had a cappuccino with a cheese straw. I had a ham and cheese croissant with a bottle of water. There was a pretty good choice of items, and all looked mouth-wateringly good.Needless to say, the food, drink and atmosphere were top-notch.Yes - we'll be back !!

The best food I've eaten out in a long time. Popped in for lunch, it was excellent, even the coffee was superb. Will definitely head for this place when we're back in town:)

Amazing café with fantastic food. Really good quality and ingredients and the quiches are well worth a try! Great service and the owner is lovely! The coffee is so much better than Starbucks

Not the cheapest food in Sevenoaks but certainly some of the tastiest.The Ham and Cheese Croissant are lovely but sell out super fast, the seeded sourdough is excellent, and I'd recommend treating yourself to a Cheese Straw and Cinnamon bun.It's open all day Sunday too!Card payments only.Eat in Cafe or take away.

Great place to grab a bite and coffee. Sweets and pastries are lovely. Had the Almond double baked croissants and Sea Salt Caramel Banana Pecan cake - very good. Love the vibe.

Outside of London Gails`s does not offer many vegan option. When it comes to bakery good often there is no vegan offer at all, like in Sevenoaks. Please offer vegan options, cause all I already had at Gail`s were just wonderful. The coffee was great and available with plant-based milk but it is an impertinence that you have to pay extra for this environmentally friendly, animal suffering-free alternative, while cow's milk, which is intended for the calves, is included. This is not very forward-looking and favors the unhealthy, suffering-causing cow's milk.

We went here for lunch yesterday. The food was good but unfortunately because they were severely understaffed it hindered the experience. Almost all the tables & chairs were dirty with old food & wrappers, general cleanliness severely lacked and we were not able to use cups, plates or cutlery because they were only doing takeaway that day - though nobody told us this until after we had paid for our food & then received it in takeaway bags. This made it awkward to eat the food. Not the staffs fault, but clearly this branch needs better management, as this is not the experience you expect from somewhere like Gail’s.

Went yesterday, wide range of food choices but high prices and low quality, wouldn’t recommend, the food does not taste very fresh and the atmosphere is lacking in personality and aesthetics. Bland food compared to closer, cheaper and Better restaurants/cafés nearby, would instead turn to the right at the door, walk down the street, then walk into Dulce’s patisserie (fresher food, better coffee/desserts)
