Very supportive advice and commitment, I have used Lings for a few things now. When I was daunted by complex legal processes, they put me at ease and saw things through to a good resolution.

NEGLIGENT DO NOT USEThis firm supposedley completed and I paid all their fees at the end of August 2021, for purchase of a residential property.. Over a year later I still had had no confirmation from the Land Registry. |In August 2022 I contacted them myself to discover my application for my name to be registered on the property I had brought had been cancelled, because Lings had failed to completed and return relevant paperwork.This meant for several weeks the property was open to fraudulent activity as no owner was registered or paperwork pending. When I telephoned Lings noone knew about or was aware of the situation.I have asked for a refund of some sort of the fee, but have had no reply for such shoddy service.. I was also charged an additional fee for added security, but cannot find out exactly what this fee covers, or why I was charged more.E mails are not answered and it is nearly impossible to speak to the solicitor Phillip Hodges in person.I cannot even begin to describe the worry and frustration of attempting to communicate with this company.I feel RIPPED OFF AND AM STILL WATING FOR AN ANSWER TO AN EMAIL SENT A WEEK AGO.

Lings have been super efficient and so helpful with dealing with a difficult time in selling a property. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff at any time ..Im very grateful for how they dealt with the process . I would recommend them highly.

Used Lings solicitors for my property purchase back a few months ago. Staff were friendly and attentive.Prices were fair, it was difficult to get to speak to main solictor at points but you get that anywhere you go due to their work loads.Attempted to use again recently for property sale and purchase but they were unfortunately at full capacity. Such a shame !

Having been advised to update our Wills we approached Lings as being a local firm. From the warm and efficient greeting from those in the outer office to personal appointments with Carla Campbell everything was carefully explained and we were delighted with the service. Many thanks.

Too busy to help quickly but helpfully explained that this was due to workloads and staff away on annual leave.

I received very prompt response and service at Lings. What I particularly liked was the time taken to understand my needs. Discussions were in a straight forward understandable manner. Correspondence dotted the I's and crossed t's in the mail as required and email otherwise which suited me. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Phil and the team.

Incompetent solicitors. Avoid at all costs. Appalling handling of my mother’s will. Constant mistakes and chasing needed. Unprofessional and unrepentant despite continuously slack service going to ombudsman as was overcharged and incurred unnecessary costs due to them (despite their believe otherwise) but clear proof to show this.

Professional and personal service. Acted on my behalf on a Probate case. I will be using this firm again and cannot recommend them highly enough. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, replying to any enquiries or correspondence in a prompt and reassuring manner. I was kept up to date on all matters throughout the process until the case was brought to a satisfactory conclusion.
