Ducklings Private Nursery

Our twin daughters started Ducklings after looking around other local nurseries. We loved the set up, how free flow ducklings is, it’s child led and laid back. Since starting we noticed the changes in them - that childcare always brings. Most noticeable is their confidence, whilst we are out and about they are now the first ones to get stuck in and curious. Before they would have to be encouraged a lot and have adult support. In the morning they can take off their shoes and explore their way. The learning opportunities are all there but presented through play and clever activities. The whole atmosphere is like a family. The communication is through Famly and for us as parents, personally, we want to see our girls happy and enjoying themselves and that’s exactly what we see on the photos. When we pick them up the girls coming running to us and they are so happy, always in a good mood and ready to tell us about their best friends etc! Fabulous, fantastic, brilliant are a few words but the main two from a review, highly recommend!

My daughter started here last year after the big refurb they did to further improve the nursery. I’m so glad I chose for her to go here, the staff are polite, friendly and approachable. My daughter always goes in excited and comes out telling me all the lovely food she has ate and the fun things they’ve learnt together. They get to go outside and play every day, participate in special events like Christmas and visit local places like the charity shops and parks. Thankyou for taking care of my little one in the best way!

Both of my girls go to this nursery and one is soon to leave. The service that has been provided here is excellent! We have loved how the team has helped my kids grow and create friendships. It'll be sad when both of mine leave for school but it's been an amazing journey and I'm thankful the team have been part of it.

Fantastic nursery. Kept informed throughout the day how my little one is doing via a secure app the nursery use.Staff are truly lovely, and care as much as I for my daughter. She’s always excited to go.Great variety of creative meals that always goes down a treat, little lady often has seconds!Thank you ducklings for everything you do.

Absolutely fantastic Nursery, my Son has issues with eating and sleeping but within 2 weeks of being at Ducklings he has started eating meals and taking naps, he’s improved a million percent and that is down to the kind dedicated and amazing staff. I can’t Thank them enough.

My child has been coming here since last year, this is by most my favourite nursery (older two went to different ones) I couldn’t ask for kinder people towards all of my children and myself, the nursery is informative of anything I want to know and they have really gone the extra mile for me. My child always enjoys coming to nursery and that makes such a difference, I’m confident in the workers here that they know my child and what she needs

My daughter loves coming to Ducklings Nursery, she has made lots of friends here. She loves exploring the activities set up for the day, from painting to building robots, learning about owl's and different types of transport. Her absolute favourite is the water tray, which one day she had decided to sit in it!!She also enjoys exploring outside, playing on the pirate ship and making mud pies in the mud kitchen.The children are also taken on little trips out of the nursery, to the local park, library and a local care home.The staff are lovely, welcoming and friendly and are happy to help with any concerns.The nursery is currently undergoing a complete renovation and will look amazing when it's complete, it's a shame that my daughter will be starting school soon and miss it.

Ducklings is the second kindergarten our daughters attend. Before we decided on Ducklings, I decided to check all the places that seemed appropriate.After some thought, we chose Ducklings and we do not regret this decision! As a mother, I highly recommend this kindergarten for all children. Wooden furniture and child-friendly facilities, a huge sandpit inside!!! Large garden with playground, separate spaces for all groups.The open space and the opportunity to make eye contact with my sister was the final touch.What's more, the nursery is completely renovated, everything is new and clean! The staff of educators is very involved in the development of children and supports their passions. There is a park and a library nearby for visitors as well. A large number of read fairy tales encouraged my daughters to learn the alphabet! The girls love their kindergarten, which makes me very happy. I like the approach of the manager who supports the parents and tries to meet all the inconveniences - which rarely happens.Constant contact with teachers through the application, entries and photos from every day of playing and learning in kindergarten. Parents' participation in open days or themed events is also a great plus.Kindergarten worth recommending!Daria M,mom of 2 girls:)
