Great service, speedy response to a query then next day delivery.I ordered fluorescent tubes and all came undamaged delivered by a smiling face. Maybe others will follow........maybe!

Sick of being ripped off for over the top postage charges when buying very small and light items. I am paying postage for a huge parcel because they keep giving me 'free' catalogues that I have told them I do not want! When I complained about it they was rude and just talked over the top of me. I will not be using this company again!

Poor product knowledge. Poor quality product. Made a 45min drive to TLC to purchase LED bulbs. Specifically requested BC Candle 2700K Warm LED bulbs suitable for dimmer (Hamilton Litestat). Server said he knew very little about lighting (bit of a shortcoming in an electrical wholesaler). Having installed find the LED LITE LTFCAD6BCCL does not work in my circuit. Technical data woefully inadequate. Staff knowledge poor. Website atrocious. Removing SBC non dimmable light for another job I find solder splatter on the glass. This demonstrates lack of emphasis on product quality. If I wanted a low quality, budget lamp I would go to eBay. The purpose of making a trip to a specialist is to ensure quality. Clearly TLC don’t see it this way. TOC are on unsafe ground if they want to compete on price at the expense of quality. I regret that I wouldn’t recommend TLC or the Cambridge branch to anyone.

Good products. Sales staff dont know much about what they are selling. Bought a compression gland (50p) turns out it comes without its lock nut ... who would have guessed it? Totally useless without lock nut. What to do? Another journey ... job delayed 2 days ... to pick up a 10p lock nut. If the staff knew anything at all about what they were selling they wld surely have asked ... and would you be wanting the lock nut with that also ...? ... or would you prefer to come back another day for that one?Ok, update. The senior manager for this facility got back to me in under 24 hours to find out what went wrong. Impressive. Restoring a couple of stars.
