What a wonderful day out for a special date or family day rummaging around all the collectibles. A great little Cafe to stop for a break.Awesome kids zone. Plenty of Parking.

Hello,Very mixed feeling here, where to start, we paid £25 for a deposit to book a table for Easter Sunday, upon arrival no one knew anything about it, nothing was set up and we had to rearrange the room very poorly as not enough spare tables were left, why ask for a deposit and not arrange or set it up? We might aswel or just turned up on the day and sorted it ourselves.Secondly when we used the £25 deposit st the till no one knew what to do with it, we got given a receipt and went to the calvery for the chef to refuse it then go check it himself, major lack of communication.The staff there are terrified of the manager, I've never seen anything like it, no people skills at all, very rude, all the staff are scared to do anything, the vibe inside is very stressed and worrying which is caused by her management skills, I really felt sorry for the team.When taking orders the staff don't really know what to do, I asked for brown sauce and got bbq, we asked for mayo and they said they had none, we asked someone else and they said the other one is forgetful and brought us some, 3 of the meals we ordered came wrong and we had to send back, now please revert to the previous paragraph, the manager didn't like this, got very rude and passive aggressive, the curry we got was trash, we all tried it and sent it back, she made us a fresh meal ill give credit where it is due, she then slammed the food on the table with no interaction.The staff give about 15 check backs for the food along with the manager lady coming over to check in every 5 minutes on the food saying her and her husband have made it them selves, I understand a check back but every 5 minutes is damn right annoying.The rating I give is for the slow, disorganised service with a major lack of management and communication skills, the atmosphere was awful., the majority of cutlery was dirty when it came out too, the manager has over cooked tables and kept asking people to leave or sit in the bar, very disorganised.The quality of food after the wait, poor chaotic service was great, she cooks some great food ( apart from the curry )

Lovely cafe. Staff really friendly. Food tasty and reasonably priced. Service is quick. We had a few meals here during a recent stay at lady heyes caravan park. We ordered takeaway and ate in the restaurant. On all occasions we were extremely happy with the service and food.
