Seriously good customer service. This is why I buy from a local shop! Not just because I'm supporting local business, but because Warlands have a great team and give you a lot of help. I wanted to buy an e-bike and it took me about 4 weeks to decide. 3 chaps, Andy, Ben, and Steve, were all brilliant and what I ended up with has been a brilliant bike, all kitted out with what I wanted. Highly recommend, both the e-bike and this shop.

10/10, excellent, reasonably priced service. Staff are friendly, honest and very knowledgeable. Managed to fix a faulty shifter/gear cable within a few hours on the same day, when Halfords were saying the same repair would take 2-3 months.

On enquiring at Warlands about accessories for my new bike, I was met with the dustiest and most unhelpful responses imaginable. The old curmudgeon who runs the place was frankly sneering and downright rude – I'm amazed this bike shop has any customers at all with this man facing the public; he should stay in the workshop. Do yourself a favour and take your custom elsewhere.

This place did a great job with my bike. They are very busy (it's not easy to find a good place these days), so I was grateful that they just happened to be able to fit me in (lucky). I am diarising the medium term further jobs they recommended because I expect there is usually a wait time, as is normal these days, and these guys are worth it, thanks for your help.

Staff were exceptionally rude. I went in to enquire if they had the hanger for a specialized enduro. They said they can't help, and I should be informed there are hundreds of hangers for bikes so I need to bring the bike in for them to help, this was after I gave them the hanger part number.A little backstory I worked in a bike shop for majority of this year. I am awear of the different types of hangers that are available. If some one had asked me if I had a hanger, and given me a part number I would be thrilled. Unfortunately they were rude and dismissive before I had even asked for the part. They told me I could not know which hanger I needed.I would not recomend going here under any circumstances

Warlands is a fine example of a traditional bike shop with knowledgeable, friendly and extremely experienced staff. I have used then twice through lockdown, firstly to repair Sturmey Archer 3 speed gears on a 40 year old Raleigh Superbe and secondly to service and update software on two new Brompton Electrics. Faultless, quick and efficient service on both occasions and very good value. Thoroughly recommended and approved.

Regrettably, my experience of this place was that the staff are terribly rude. I rang and asked whether it would be possible that a simple puncture repair could be fixed that day. I was told to bring the bike in that morning and they would try their best to fix it by the end of the day.I arrive at the store 10 minutes later with my bike and asked whether it was still possible for my bike puncture to be repaired that day. I was met with a snarky response that whoever told me that 'was brave for telling me that'. Upon inquiring what sort of time scale the repair would thus take, I was made to feel like I was being an imposition to them and met with further snarky remarks - 'If you want to call all our customers and tell them that you are more important, etc.'I decided to politely inform them that I was no longer interested in using their services and have repaired the bike at home myself.From the reviews it seems that these guys are good, so perhaps the clerk that spoke to me was having a bad day.
