All I can say is... What an outstanding place!!! Staff extremely friendly. Wonderful quiet location and the inside decor is beautiful. More than anything the food was AMAZING. There is nothing at fault in any way shape or form. After living in Scotland for three years and being a chef myself I've always been on the look out for a decent meal. Couldn't find one anywhere until this place came along. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family. You must go!

A warm welcome into a comfortable, well-appointed accommodation. A truly sensational evening meal in the adjoining Limetree restaurant.And to send us on our way the following morning, a copious full traditional breakfast. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Location: perfect, just outside of the town, a 5-minute walk.Staff: Very welcoming, polite and helpful.Room: spotlessly clean, excellent decor, comfy bed, nice hot shower.Breakfast: Wide choice of items to choose from and while not massive portions, the quality of the food and the way it was served and cooked was perfect. Quality over quantity.One of the best places I've ever stayed (just in case reading you were unsure)Would I stay here again? YES! Already planning my visit next year!

I had a one night stay after being caught short of driving hours on a return from glasgow to Mansfield it was a great room and views amazing breakfast and service I won't forget my night a Hartfell

A most beautiful hotel in a lovely quiet location within a 5 minute walk of the town centre of Moffat. The owners were very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was super with quality ingredients. This hotel/BandB offers a very high standard stay, all at a very reasonable price.

Lovely spacious rooms with a garden view. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone visiting this friendly and cute small town
