Situated on the top of cliffs at Penarth great little cafe, selling a range of foods, outside area seating. A great place for children as well super playground, have a lovely coffee or ice cream while the children play

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs! The coffee here is consistently weak, resembling a latte instead of the ordered flat white. Another customer also complained about this.Additionally, they prohibit serving ice cream in cones while sat indoors and offer ridiculously small and overpriced portions in bowls.Unless absolutely necessary, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. Save yourself the disappointment and find a place that values quality and customer satisfaction.

Service was good. Coffee and cake good. It was quieter than usual the weather didn't help it was raining. In a way it made it nicer. Relaxing. We were some brave souls not deterred by rain.

Extremely rude management, telling us off for giving our toddler his food that we had with us. We had bought drinks and dessert from this place and sat down to have them but our toddler woke up and wanted to eat so we gave him his food while we were having the drinks we bought. Disgusting to be spoken to in this manner and frankly will not be coming back. Learn some people skills and speak to paying customers respectfully.

Edit: Following our second trip here I must change my review slightly due to the idiotic rule of no ice-cream cones on the cafe, even though they sell them.Just to clarify my wife and I along with our two year old & mother inlaw popped in for a Coffee and cake. After making an order of £20 plus my wife asked of we could have an ice-cream cone for our kid. A straight out no and stated can only have a cone if you are outside. Only in a dish inside..Soo my wife asked for the manager only to be told the same. Now for the silly bit. My kid prefers the wafer cone to the ice-cream itself. We asked can we have a wafer on its own. The answer was no. Seriously you can't bend your rules slightly? Anyway we ended up having ice-cream in a dish and picking the cone up on the way out. This place has had a nice revamp. Decor is very nice.Nice choice of food here and it taste good. We had a cheese & onion toastie and a fresh pizza. They have a great choice of ice-cream also.Prices are reasonable, though I didn't get some of the price differences between pizzas. They seem inconsistent. Anyway..Good views of the sea and there's a really good park next door for the kids.Lots of free parking also with toilets.

Recently had a lunch here with my 9 year old daughter. Was charged over £5 for a basic cheese and onion sandwich and £17 overall for 2 sandwiches, an Americano coffee and a lemonade. Pretty steep. The coffee was quite bitter too. The service was friendly, but i think the prices considering its the kids holidays was excessive. I realise it's Penarth and a nice location, but even so. The inside of the café/restaurant is pleasant.

Nice little caffe, great location, unfortunately poor customer service. We paid for 3 hot drinks and an ice cream, sitting outside, when I went back to ask for a cup of hot water, the rude gentleman at the till denied it saying “we don’t do hot water here” having a go to a member of the staff helping us.Very unprofessional.

Expensive and poor quality of microwaved Italian food. No menus. Flat fizzy drinks and no ice available. Charged a fee for tap water that was room temperature. I definitely would not recommend this establishment.
